Had to go a make a few post :D

Glam!!!! Glad to see you!!!! (((hugs))) I would love to do the same thing for dinner.......I am kind of tired of the same thing :laugh: I tried mexican one year for Christmas and I thought they we all going to have a heart attack!!

I like the tradition Holiday meals, but it's really about being together, so I really don't care what food is served. I just enjoy being around my family and the friends that come. I don't get to see them much.

The power grid did drills not yield the American blackout that was feared for the past 3 mos., but I would like to suggest having a flashlight handy at all times. The next time Obama throws a tantrum and shuts down the govt, he might shut down the power too to punish the people for making their congressmen oppose him.

I recently went out and bought 3 oil lamps, fuel for them and several large candles. My cell phone is usually near me, so turning that on can at least guide me to my matches and candles.

I always fear something "off" during the holidays ... so you can just ignore me being pessimistic.

I'm working on what people call a bug-out bag so at least I will have clean undies, a toothbrush and matches if I have to flee a tidal wave coming.
