The commercialism of Christmas doesn't bother me as much as it used to ... I'm starting to mellow out. What bothers me is that people don't DIY the gifts and spend outrageous amounts for heaps and heaps of toys that all take batteries or require 2 hrs of assembly.

For myself, I would much rather get a homemade tin of homemade peppermint bark or a loaf of zucchini bread than a bottle of perfume that makes everyone sneeze and get watery eyes over.

I'd have to agree. Homemade stuff is great. Wanna make me a Wooden Box Mod that holds two 18650 batteries (for long life between charges) with a VV/VW board and an OLED Screen? Of course, it needs an atty connector with 510/eGo threads and a drip well, an Ohm Checker, Battery Voltage Level indicator, and all the buzzers and bells, wrapped in blue ribbons and bows. :D

This is how I kept my two yorkies groomed instead of letting their hair grow showstyle long. I sure miss them, but I'm getting over it.

    Do you have yorkies Dale?
I have one now, yes. Her name is Elly and she was given to me by a friend who didn't want to mess with her :)
Before that I had a Yorkie/Maltese mix that was given to me by friends named Cleo ... she's gone now.

Elly really needs a cut

    Hi Tink!:)

    Okay, I won't.

    Hospital busy during Thanksgiving day?

My daughter has started juicing and thinks it's a lot of fun. You just ought to see her grocery list. She's already noticeably lost weight after a week.

I just started her on a 2ce a day Golden Milk regimen for now through the holidays.

Check it out when you have time .... it's a little long ... about 10 min. This one is by a doctor, but there are several on uTube.

We each had a cup on Thanksgiving evening, made with coconut milk, and it is delicious!

 OK, I'm done (for now ;) ) I love Christmas… once I have bought all the gifts. Figuring out what to get people stresses me out!

It's time consuming, but I walk stores I'd be in anyway and wait for something that has someone's name on it. If I haven't found everything, I hit the mall. The driving, parking, and inconsiderate people bother me more that the shopping. I've always enjoyed shopping.
    (I know... I'm strange.)

I got off of work at 7am on Thanksgiving day so don't know if it was busy

I will look at the link you sent. Thank You! I am going to do the smoothies… soon. I've just been too busy with work and Thanksgiving to get into it.
