I stopped by Walmart on the way home for milk and 1/2 & 1/2. I expected to see a crazy crowd for Black Friday, but it really wasn't bad.

Me too. I left much too early to go to work ... thinking it would be crazy on the fwy ... T'giving, blk Fri and it was raining. The fwy was clear, and I got at the client's house 15 min. early.

I haven't even really started I ordered my dad a new pair of TV Ears online His are about worn out. My mom LOVES them because the TV no longer plays at 5000 decibels since I got him a pair 2 years ago.

Oh, I've heard about those! They are wonderful when the hearing isn't so good.

I have a Q: Do the ears also allow tv to be heard at a normal volume to other ppl and just amplify it for the person with the ears?

Or buy your dad some TV ears too

I was afraid dad wouldn't use them. But he really does like them and uses them all the time. He can hear so much better with them. And the TV can even be on mute so mom doesn't have to listen to it when he is watching

That's a reason I'd want them... for my hearing loss. I had headphones connected to my PC for a while when I watched things like uTube or a DVD, but I stopped doing it. I had a Parakeet that I didn't want to freak out because I play the sound so loud. I'm by myself, except for Cadeau, and she's usually in another room anyway, but doesn't seem to mind. She still comes in for attention anyway. But a cordless headset would be nice.

Yes! The TV can be at a normal volume. Or even muted.

The two American Siamese I had were supposedly saved. They were a gift to me, but at $400 each, that's a little hard to believe.

Purebreds are pricey! My dad paid around $1200 for Fergie. I got Pippin for $800. In the pet stores, Yorkies got clear up to $2,000. And then they have to be groomed every other month at $40 each, and since they're papered, all their shots need to be kept up. I lucked out and bought a puppy plan through my vet's office.

Wrapped in nothing but two tiny blue ribbons. Tell him if he wants to keep her, he has to keep his room neat. It's a Win-Win!!!

Could have been true. There are purebreds in shelters a lot of times (from what I've heard and read). I don't go into shelters… I would bring them all home with me.

And I would stand there looking at all their big beautiful pleading eyes and cry.

We got a set of them but rarely use them. The good thing about us both with hearing loss.
