Get him a gift certificate to Game Stop or Best buy and let him pick something out himself....unless you don't want to encourage the gaming, that is :)

We really would like for him to get off of the games and find some other interests! But, we have wanted that for years and it hasn't happened yet. We usually do get him a couple of games for his Xbox.

How about a Qigong or other marial arts instructional DVD?

He took Hapkido lessons for a little while. And we have offered to pay for him to have more lessons. But he is too much of a homebody to go take lessons  Maybe a video would be a good idea… he wouldn't have to leave the house :glare:

That's a reason I'd want them... for my hearing loss. I had headphones connected to my PC for a while when I watched things like uTube or a DVD, but I stopped doing it. I had a Parakeet that I didn't want to freak out because I play the sound so loud. I'm by myself, except for Cadeau, and she's usually in another room anyway, but doesn't seem to mind. She still comes in for attention anyway. But a cordless headset would be nice.

And another thing ... you can sing along to a song and not be able to hear yourself.

Since he's a homebody, how about something cool for his room or the space he hangs out in??

Yes! The TV can be at a normal volume. Or even muted.

I sound like I am doing a commercial for TV Ears :?:

He likes this weird orchestral techno music  I've never, ever heard of it except when he plays his iPod when he is driving and I'm a passenger.

Well there is money in making the games!!! :D

We have TRIED to tell him this!!! And our local community college even has courses in it!!
