I opened the door and let Hellraiser out, thinking with the snow and the cold, he would appreciate our generosity in giving him a home. Wrong!! He took off....loving the snow. Playing and jumping. I had to get out the treat bottle and shake it to get him to come back in. He just ain't right!

Glam, don't ever lose Hellraiser in the snow! If you do, your life will get boring. Problem children always have the most memories attached to them. I love hearing about what Hellraiser is up to!

Jeeze, jj. That is a toughie. We were asked that for my sister. And we did have a "Do Not Resuscitate" band put on her....but then when she did not quit breathing, we all opted for a feeding tube....I think I would opt for #2. My mom was given life support for a few hours, and we had her for 6 more years...good years too. My sister made the decision to resuscitate her and it was worth it. Each situation has to be considered.

Before my beloved Fergie and Pippin were gone, I think I would have opted for #2. I always worried about me passing before they did and worried that no one would cook for them, walk them, buy them their Greenies, and cuddle with them.

With them gone, I would go with #1 now, b/c I know my family would pull the plug, and I know where I'm going when I leave my body. I don't mind dying, but I would rather not suffer beforehand if I have a choice, so I have instructed my kids to not let me unnecessarily linger.

I was cruising around and got lost. Somehow I ended up here.

Serious question. I don't want to know which you would choose but would like know how you interpret the following options. They are on the POA

I agree with Glam. I'd take #2. I see what Lisa has said, but I also see it as you saying you want extra measures taken, rather than not, unless that doctor claims there is no good chance of a reasonable recovery (as stated).

I don't think I can post any more today until I calm down. I just had a half hour battle with my cell phone service provider, T-Mobile. They pushed the wrong buttons that I thought were stuck solid to never come up. Yep, I had a grand mal tantrum. I thought no one had that kind of power over me to make me hostile and ugly. They have $400 of mine on a deposit that no longer pertains and they refused to refund it after they agreed and even gave me a confirmation number for the refund transaction. I called to see where it was since I had not received it in the mail. They changed their mind!

I am still angry!

Hey VG I'm warm enough, I don't mind the cold much...but I hate the summer and whine for 3 months about it We really didn't get much snow. The sidewalks and streets are clear, but areas around us got 3 or 4 inches. I think they might be calling for more soon.

talk to a supervisor. If it was a supervisor, then someone above him/her.

Something fishy if they gave you a confirmation number!

VG you need to make that decision and fill out the POA.
