Lounging By The Beach - Part 5

Okay my friends, I've got to work tomorrow early, so I'm going to go clean my equipment from my afternoon job today.

The USPS is short-handed, and my mail has been coming at 6-7pm ... last night it was after 8pm. I went out to check it though, and stepped onto a 16-inch designer flower pot (full) and went flying ... landed on my hip and elbow and re-sprained my left ankle which I had sprained 6 mos ago. Ouch! It knocked the breath out of me, and I just laid there trying to get my breath back. I had just put the pot there a couple of days ago, b/c, over the years, the rain has damaged and weakend one of my porch steps - didn't want anyone to step through it. But then I forgot I put it there, and I was stepping down in the dark.

I'm the nice quiet one on the block. I think it shocks them when they hear me laugh that loud. Or maybe they want to peek over and see who's here.

Well, I meant to make it back here last night, but we started drinking Brandy Alexanders last night after dinner.....good food, good friends, and delicious, creamy, fattening after dinner drinks. Hubs had to drive home because I was buzzin'....still feeling warm and fuzzy when I got home, laid down on sofa and buzzed right off to sleep. Woke up at midnight and went to bed. I figured I would be hung over this morning, but was not.

So I threw you all over for someone named Alexander....and he was delicious!
