For Glam
I am so glad I was able to get here this morning.

Too funny, Dale! Thanks for making my day! I will get my copy of that as soon as I am done with the original. The original is such slow reading because I have to read some passages over and over in order to understand the real depth of the writing.

And to make sure I do not miss any important details.
Happy MLK Monday, Beachers......been thinking of you. Daughter just left for home, and now my house is quiet again for a bit. I have missed you, and did sit down to visit last night but both daughter and hubs made it known that they thought I was being rude, so I had to go sit
through the football game with them. OH, JOY!
Visited with sister for about 3 hours yesterday. She was in great spirits and still repeating words if we speak in kind of a chant to her....but she does not voluntarily say much. Once in a while a yes or no or I know come out. But she was lively and laughing. She is excited because they have her scheduled for surgery on Feb. 6 to remove the feeding tube in her nose and put one in her stomach....the nose tube was only supposed to be in for a couple of weeks but they waited until they thought her heart is strong enough for surgery. She has a bunch of scar tissue from 9 surgeries for pancreatitus she had 26 years ago, so the stomach tube is going to involve major surgery, and they do not really know if her heart is strong enough, but at this point there really are no other options. And she has let it be known to us that she understands and is willing to accept the risks involved. If the surgery is successful, the rehab specialists will have a lot more freedom to work on her swallowing, which has been slowly coming back.
I had a lovely visit with my daughter....she livens up our house so much. But I did really miss all of you, and now I am going to try to back read some. Can't get to it all, but will do what I can.
Hope you are all having a great Monday....YAY for those who have a paid vacation day.
