Well, I have a microwave. Hadn't thought about seeing if there's a defrost setting. This is why I was posting about it. I needed help.

How was Stefanie and BWW?

If not, you could put it in the pot with some water, and start cooking it in the water....that will defrost it and be more of a ground consistency faster.

How was Stefanie and BWW?

Both were great. Stefanie has sure come back to us....even if she has trouble talking. She can still make me laugh, had a great visit with her. She gobbled lunch....and then I did a manicure on her. And rubbed lotion on her dry skin. I left her relaxed and happy.

And BWW were excellent....as always. I always have 5 wings and cole slaw. They are one of the few places that can make cole slaw to suit me.

Even if no defrost button.....put it in at 1/3 power for about 10 minutes. Check it every couple of minutes to make sure it is not cooking.

It's new enough that it has a turntable inside, but it's pretty small. It prolly has a defrost setting. I just never thought to use it.

Those defrost settings are not real accurate...keep checking it cause they can start cooking the meat....which you do not want.

What I have found is that they are inaccurate on the low side, not really defrosting and having to repeat. That's prolly why I never looked at this one.

Never really liked defrosting meat in the microwave. Just seems to change it a bit.
