I made a side dish to take. I'd been very sick in the night - thought I might end up at h....h... you know where. I did make it there but felt pretty crummy the whole time. I didn't overeat by a long shot! Still haven't felt well today. Missed going to the Christmas made in the South but knew I would never make it through it. I have been packing more books, moving boxes of books, and pretty much resting today. I woke up at about 8, made a phone call and went back to bed until noon!

Yes. It was a pretty good drive up and a nice day. We didn't have the big bon fore because some plans got changed last minute. My nephew wanted to go to the bigger city to a Toys-R-Us there, so he could get something for his daughter at $100 off. My mother had to be taken home, too, so a few of them took off. I took a little nap, and when I woke up, hardly anyone was there. So it was decided not to do the big bon fire and we had a little one. It was still nice.

Sorry you were ill. I'm seeing a lot of that around. I'm glad you were able to sleep in today. Don't overdo it until you've had some time to recuperate.

Yeah, I've had too many short-sleep nights lately and I started passing out, so I took a nap. I know I stay up late, but I'm having trouble getting to sleep again recently. I haven't napped at a family gathering in years. I don't want to miss things because we don't get together that often anymore. It took a while to nod off because the young girls were banging on the piano.
Guess I only actually slept for about an hour. But I'd had a good time with the girls earlier. I watched and supervised (and guarded) them on the trampoline.
VG - even a small bonfire sounds great! Brother had the firepit going but I didn't go out there except for a minute.
Dale - so sorry about your mama. I'm sure family missed the chance of getting to dine together.
I'm still dilly-dallying around here accomplishing only a little. Must get busy!

How to get Red from Blue and Green?
I may try mixing some other things, too. I got a 5-pack sampler from Nude Nicotine a good while back, but the ones I tried made me cough, like there were little granules of something in the back of my throat, so I put them down. But recently I made some of their Watermelon Mint at 2.5% and 7.5% DW (nothing else) and it didn't do that... just needs to be like 3% flavoring or a little more. So I may try making the last one I haven't tried yet, and try the others again this same way. I also have some LorAnn Cream Cheese that I got a good while back in hopes of finding a recipe for Red Velvet Cake. I never found a VG recipe, but the Cream Cheese was pretty good by itself at 2.5%. It smells so dreamy and tastes really good on the first puff, but I think it needs to be 3% or more, too.

Sorry you're having trouble nodding off VG, I had that a lot when I was younger but not any more
I don't think it was really the prayer, mom's stopped taking all her "nerve" medications cause "they" think that's what is causing her to fall so often

The fire was nice. I love it no matter where it is. I love a fireplace, and about everything but the gas flame under the turkey peanut oil boiler pot.
I'm not going to mix juices until later.

Yeah, but other brother's visiting and we are going to dinner with them tomorrow night. I am running out of break to accomplish the things I wanted to.
