Still on the same 18650 battery since Monday around noon. The vapor is no longer in the HV range, but it's still enjoyable. Now that I've stopped bringing any PV to work I can go a long time without recharging batteries. I vape pretty heavily at home, so I'd say it's possible for a lot people to receive 2 days of battery life with the magnum atomizer and 18650 battery.

So is everyone just dripping with these? I used a cart with the PTB mod while driving today, but got some melting of the plastic end of the cart - nasty. Anyone got a cart mod working well on these?

I always trim the edges of my 901 carts back about 1/16"... so the melting isn't a problem for me.

My "old faithful" spring and blue scrubby pad mod will almost keep up with these atties. Almost. It's still easy to run them dry. Just gotta go a little slower to let the wicking action "catch up" to my vaping.

I don't know how any of the blue foam variants will work with these.

I was only able to buy two, so I got a black one and a stainless...the black one is amazing and wonderful and heavenly and precious, the SS is being a little temperamental, I'm getting an icky hot metal throat burn (not the too dry juice burn taste, more like toxic hurts my throat scorched metal), I'm hoping it just needs a few days to "break-in".. I'm working with it, hopefully it will decide to behave in a few days.
anyhoo..a loose fit BFD works fine, but having to refill every few minutes is a PITA so I've mostly been dripping w/901 whistle tip.

I picked up four. Not to badmouth my buddy Drew or his products.. but I am surprised at the variation from unit to unit. Not with resistance or fit... that has all been "spot on". But the variation in "air flow" is fairly pronounced. And that makes each one of them vape just a bit differently.

That's odd. I got 7 of 'em and after reading your post I decided to check 'em out. 2 of the 7 have a very slightly stiffer draw (better actually) than the others. Actually they seem much more consistent that the Joye 510s I'm used to.

I remember when you used to feel that way about me..... <sob>

Me too, Scottbee. Women are so fickle

Even the standard Joye 510s suffered from variations in airflow. I know for sure 1 out of the 4 is working great.

I did visually inspect all them and found that one had some loose wick fibers floating around. I'll probably just remove the wick and bridge completely from this one since I'll have to dig around in it. I'll try and post some pics of the coil when I actually find some time to mess around with it.

I went with all stainless LR attys so I could tell them apart from my standard 510 attys, which are mostly all matte black. The few regular 510's I have in stainless are not the same shiny silver as these LR ones, so that's good. Even still, I know I'm going to forget to switch from 6 volts to 3.7 and pop one of them, LOL. I do feel that going all stainless has reduced the chance a lot...I hope :)

I'm going to say this for the sake of my good friend Kent, who I am sure is monitoring this thread.

IT TOOK ME A FULL 7ml OF GOOD STUFF TO GET THE BACON OUT OF MY LR ATTY!!!!!!!

OK.. there.. I'm done.

Carry on!

Lol... I do know of what you speak via DV's Roast Beef. If you want that type of taste sometimes without the lingering.... Rob's (LXpress) Kung Pow Chicken is the better vape. Although the DV flavors are right on.

Thanks for pointing that out. I bought 4 as well but have been using the same one for 3 days. I think I'll try my other ones and see if mine behave differently.

I agree, nothing against Drew, he can't control variations from the factory. And nothing against the LR attys, I'm getting more ASAP, my black one is pure bliss. The standard 510 attys are history for me!
I'm naming my stainless LR atty "the wild thing", it has super powers! It gets really really hot really fast compared to my black one. I worked with it for a few hours, it still burns the hell outta my throat. with a 14500 batt, the coil goes from zero to red hot lava almost immediately, it's better on an old half-spent 510 batt. I wish I had a way to test it.
