LOL

So enjoying this, wondering when it will be modded myself. Let's just keep hiding.

Anyone up for some Geography?

I live in Colorado, my package (batteries and such) was shipped from Utah. It was sent through California. Amazing, I'm pretty sure my dog knows that farther is farther.

LT left Honolulu the 4th at 6pm ish... wonder where it will be routed through?

Got my update, LT arrives today as well as my package from UT.

Wonder twins powers- form of Postman Stalker- activate.

Looks like yours may get there first. My tracking info hasn't changed in over 2 days. Last word was "Processed through USPS Sort Facility, January 05, 2012, 2:00 am, HONOLULU, HI 96820" I assumed it would have had to be on a plane after that heading for the States. Mail don't get here for another 5 hours yet and Today is the tracking info's Expected Delivery Date. I hate it when they make you sweat it out. It may be on it's way just fine and the stupid tracking info hasn't updated - Or the mail plane got hijacked.

I ordered my Lavatube from volcano on the 4th. I went with insured USPS simply because i've had problems with roughly treated packages from Fed-Ex before, and i've never had a single issue with the USPS here. I get little boxes from various vendors at least once or twice a week and never had aproblem.

My delivery confirmation thing is a little screwy this time, coming from hawaii, it says that it will be here today on the seventh, which is clearly not possible beause it's in indiana right now, and i'm in Louisiana. But it's kind of a moot issue because i got my batteries from a different vendor because volcano was out, and they won't be here for 2 more days anyway.

Anxiously awaiting my lavatube.

A side note on all the hubbub about the lavatubes voltage not being accurate at higher voltages: I don't really care, i have used other peoples VV mods before, and i didn't really like vaping at anything higher than 4.5-4.8 v. Some of the reviewers that complain about it not being accurate at 6 volts admit in the next sentence that they never vape at the high of a volt anyway, something i found mildly entertaining.

Anyway! I can't wait for my shiny new mod to get here!

Alright so here goes my rundown.

Ordered Jan 2nd
Shipping Info received Jan 4th, why does this number always seem to change, seems like a USPS cheat to me.
Accepted, Processed, Sorted and Batched from Honolulu on Jan 4th
Processed through Denver Jan 6th
Delivered Jan 7th to my mailbox (it was after 2pm though) The good news it arrived On my birthday so that kept my wife happy as she bought it for me.

So I guess 5th day from HI is not bad.

As to functionality... well, I know the numbers may not be accurate. I don't care, it's like a volume button to me, I turn it up till I get what I want, I don't care if it says 11 or -20 I seem to be able to satisfy my needs and then some. On a fresh LMR I can turn out enough heat to make my DC Tank toast the juice till it burns a bit.

I enjoy the mod, I've been though enough ecigs to know what I'm doing. I've used a ProVari and others, I've worked hard enough and I like this.

Woooo!
My Lavatube and batteries (Which I had to order from a seperate website) Should be here tomorrow. Barring that it will be here on Tuesday without a doubt. I can't wait!

Now, my next big arrival will be my Boge 3.0 Tank. Can't wait for that either.

Be sure to check back in and share your thoughts on the LT.....congrats on your purchase....:)

Walked right up to the lady at the kiosk and asked if she had lavatubes in stock. She says yes and pulls open a drawer stocked with at least 50 lavatubes, all individually bubble wrapped, pulls one out and assembles a starter kit. Slip her the visa and bam! Exit through Sears, stop by the tools, good deal on wire cutters, pay for that and I'm out the door. All in all, 20 minutes tops.

Great to be a local huh....:) Love Honolulu....My last visit to Oahu was a couple February's ago and our first full day they had that Tsunami warning due to that earthquake off the coast of Chile.

Sorry to hear that Keeno. Ya, there was some complaints against the pacific tsunami warning center in the days that followed b/c of the lost business.. but hey, better safe than sorry right? Hope the rest of your trip was stellar. I have a friend in Indy and she tries to get us to come out there.. but when vacay comes around, we end up elsewhere. Someday.

Follow up, finding a rhythm with the ol' LT and getting decent battery life. Not really paying too much attention to the features and functions, just focusing on do I get a good vape. The answer is yes.

I've got some 3ohm single coil cartos for the tank, and some dual coil 1.5s. Not noticing a heck of a lot of difference in performance. This could be the limitations on low voltage on the device, but I really don't mind, I'm getting enough and on both I have to temper the power so I don't get burned puffs.

Honestly the biggest pain in the behind so far is the ongoing fight over the LT. Like it, use it. Hate it, don't but stop your incessant postings of hate and vitriol. This applies to both sides.
