For me, its as much about kicking the snack habit as smokes. Lets see, $200 a month food savings, $100 a month cigarette savings, I should break even in a couple months.
Only pieces of equipment I bought I don't really like are the Spinner II I killed in under a couple of weeks and my Aspire BCD, although I still use it. Probably won't replace the head when it dies though. That said ...
$80 first setup ... Aspire and Spinner
$50 vv3 and pt2. Love them, so they go in the long term investment category.
$20 for two blister pack ego starter kits. Meh, but I like having a couple of really cheap backups. Thinking of giving one to my neighbor who keeps talking about vaping.
$20 for 5 CE4 cartos, when I had no idea what I'm doing. They're great for really strong juices or stuff I don't like to vape a lot of.
$50 for EHPro KFL+ clone and kanthal. Now have more kanthal than I know what to do with.
and ...
$170 for SS Provari blem, two batteries and charger from Provape.
$50 in miscellaneous parts and things I want to try.
So, not counting juice, $440.
Not too bad for a newb, considering a lot of the above I could have gotten far cheaper on-line or through cheaper vendors. A month and a half to break even on hardware, and very little of the above is consumable. The biggest purchase, the Provari, should last for years.
I've gotten very little juice I didn't like at all and won't eventually vape. Maybe 10% of it is in my 'nevermind' category and only one in the, 'never again' category.
And with the quantities of sugar I was sucking down and the 2-3 times a week fast food habit, I'm way ahead on the health side. Just cleaning out the pantry and the freezer has paid for the juice!
