Honestly, I think it depends both on the grandparent and the kid in question. My 16 year old loved my dad, grieved terribly when we lost him, and barely tolerates my mom. On my husband's side, she really really likes and loves her grandma, but she adores her grandfather. I actually had no idea she did not care for my mother til after dad passed.

Some people actually buy the whole dang critter. Sometimes, when it's still alive !!! :shock:

Good evening, and Happy Easter Lurkers. :)

Have had a quiet day here with DH. Some cleaning, laundry, and a LONG nap for me, and some yard work for him.
He'll be firing up the grill in just a few for our dinner. Brats, left over mac & cheese, and a veggie, but I've not decided what yet.
