Have them check the wires out at the pole for chew damage from a squirrel. Ours was sporadic, and that's what it ended up being. Worse/not working at all when it rained. Have him go look.

That's what I said too MD. He unplugged the router like they told me to do over the phone a couple of days ago & viola it's back on. I let him know that it comes on when I do it too & then goes back out a hour later. Smh!!

Well, all our equipment inside was good, but they upgraded everything anyway. So, we were fine for a week or so, and then it happened all over again. Painfully slow internet, then nothing. They came back out and checked everything, and it was all good, and then the guy finally went and looked at the pole. The last guy who ran cable put a loop in it, (a short cut) instead of fixing and finishing it the way it should be (whatever that is). But the tech said that if they leave anywhere for a squirrel to sit (loop), they will chew. The chew area would get wet, not work, then dry out and be fine. He really didn't know how we had any internet at all, but it's been good ever since he actually fixed it at the pole. Knock wood.
