.....I paid our bills last night. I'm done until they send more.

I'm hoping I don't have to go this weekend.
We usually get tuna fish...on the 9 grain oat bread!! It's soooooooo good. I was bad, I even got a cookie.

...also picked up cards since there is a Hallmark Store next door. Mother's Day, three graduation, and a confirmation.

I always get Southwest Chicken, think DH varies some. Quit on the cookies, not too crazy about theirs

Dang! I should have picked up a Mother's day card and a thank you card while I was in town
Probably have a decent Thank You card but no Mother's day Oh well, got another week

Good day to you all!! And can I just say?!? God bless America!!!
I am at the VA, today was the day to get my biopsy results today....hour drive and they aren't even in! Grrr. It is alright though because I had a really great interaction with an anesthesiologist that works here. I get into the elevator, request floor 3, and he looks at me and asks...you going to GI clinic? I say, yes, I am supposed to find out if I have Barrett's esophagus today. He asks if I have Gerd pretty bad, and I tell him yes. So, we get to floor 3, and he asks if he can speak to me for a minute. I say sure. So he tells me that the doc will probably put me on antacids and that I should be respectful and nod my head, but don't take them. They will make the gerd worse. Instead, he tells me to get some apple cider vinegar and take 2 tsp. A day mixed with water, and thus will reverse the Gerd and heal my esophagus. This was like an answer to prayer because I have been reading a lot lately about how a t acids actually make Gerd worse not better, and I had been trying to decide whether to go the apple cider vinegar route. He said not only has he read the studies, it healed him of his own very bad gerd. Yay!!!

So I thank him, and I say let me do you a good turn too. You can quit smoking! I showed him the itaste vv with protank attached. He got very excited and says that this looks better than blu. So I get a piece of paper and write down the ecf and casaa websites, as well as th delaware vapor, which is 20 minutes from this hospital. He then made me write down the name of my device and clearomizer, and tells me he is going to try, and he wants to do it right or not at all. He thanked me profusely... we shake hands and part ways, and then I hear someone ask him what he is doing there....He tells them he wasn't scheduled, it was supposed to be his day off but he got called in. Serendipitous?

That is totally serendipitous! My daughter has been talking about apple cider vinegar. I really hope that it helps you!

Ok Lurkers I am home AND!!!!!!!!

the doctor, after telling me to come to his office on Monday to get the pathology report, came back up to my room while I was waiting to get discharged. He picked up the pathology report while he was downstairs and brought it back to me. They got all the cancer and the 11 lymph nodes that were tested came back negative. I am cancer FREE!! I do not have to have chemo. I just need to finish healing and take care of my self and I am back to good as new!

This is one of those times when you need a love button instead of a plain old like!!!
I'm so happy for you! Enjoy being home and the comforts that are no where else, but don't over do it!!!
Rest, relax, sample some good juices and enjoy the day!

I cried and hugged him I also thanked the nursing staff for taking such good care of me. A couple of nurses came in and hugged me too. I am just so thankful right now
