There was a story (years ago) that someone had lost their mailbox three weekends in a row. The fourth weekend, he put one out that was filled with concrete. Figured at least whoever hit it the fourth time would break an arm. Story was that someone did hit it a fourth time, but I don't think they did after that.

There is many many different versions of the reo. The one I'm getting is the original version that he made and that style was only made once. As far as I know they are the only ones with the button in place of the hole to squonk. See with mine there is a hole and in the originals there is a button
