Neither have I! Mom always used to tell me my bath water was too hot

I just got done talking to my oldest niece. I asked her to keep an eye on mom for me. She deals with this kinda stuff by trying to keep busy but we know she's torn apart inside. Plus I wanted to make sure she'd go with mom in the morning to take Taffy to the vet so she wouldn't...just got the call as I was typing this...Taffy just passed away a few minutes ago.

Ok. I'm back
She was just always a sweet kitty. When I went to find a kitty I sat in the floor with all of them & she was the calmest one of all. She just came and hopped on my leg & stood there looking at me. So I figured I didn't pick her. She choose me. Mom said she was ugly. Which she took back as she got bigger. Instead she called her her sweet baby.

The funniest thing about her was how addicted to treats she was. She would meet everyone at the door in the evenings (between my mom, sisters & nieces there were a lot of us going in & out). She'd look at you & meow until you followed her down the hall to her food bowl. Then she'd stand there & meow until you gave in & gave her what she wanted. After a while we started to wonder where all of the treats were going None of us realized that she was tricking us all into giving her treats when we would come in individually. Once we figured it out all we could do was laugh at how smart she was & how gullible we all were

She will truly be missed!

I'm glad that we are a family of pet lovers here. I know so many people think...'it's a cat' but she was my companion when I was younger. She was also a companion to my grandmother in her last days. She'd sit on the bed with her or sit in her doorway all day looking after her & keeping her company. She wasn't just a cat, she was family
