Dinner was WONDERFUL. DH and I split a ribeye, and had broccoli for the vegetable. :)

I'm stuffed, ready for my bath, and the couch!

So Welsh, if you're around. I guess M.Schumacher will be an invalid for the rest of his life. Another article I read said that his wife is having a 10 million dollar (Euro) medical suite built at their estate for him, so he can continue to receive the care he needs at home.
Apparently he has permanent brain damage. Just so sad. :(

Hey! You're supposed to have that on Saturday!
 I know, that's our Sat. night dinner. :D
We had brats last night. I wasn't sure if we'd be here or at the lake, so I knew I could take brats to the lake and we could cook them over a bonfire. ;) Didn't know if we had gas for our small grill there. So, there was a method to my madness.

It is. Not always, but DH found a place that has THE MOST WONDERFUL MARINATED RIBEYES, the price isn't horrible, and they're big enough that we can just split one, and have extra veggies. They're kinda rich tasting, so honestly a whole one would almost be too much anyway. I'd prob end up with a tummy ache.

I'm going to make brats tomorrow ...With potatoes and sauerkraut, I think...

LUV, LUV, LUV KRAUT TOO!! ;) DH will not eat it at all though. :(

I know, DH said he doesn't believe any of it other than that he's out of his coma. He said the family, as was Michael, are so private, that DH thinks that any doctor who has leaked any info would have been fired on the spot.

But who knows, I think if it was good news they'd release something, but since they're so tight lipped, that it can't be good. It's sad for him and the family. I'm sure even people who weren't fans of his would have never wished anything like that on them.

DH said (I guess it would've been before qualifying started) that the F1 announcers said that all they knew, and all they would comment/say was that he is "out of his coma", and there would be no more discussion as that was the only info that had been released by the family.

So, that was very respectful on their part.

So what did you have Chim?

I looked in the fridge & remembered I'd take down that sausage last night but I didn't cook breakfast this morning. So I decided I wanted breakfast for dinner:laugh:

I had sausage, eggs & waffles. It was quite good:)
