Guess I should "extract" my bootay from this recliner and get something productive done. It is a beautiful sunny day. Wish I felt like taking a walk. Not feeling it. I think I've had to much 50% off Easter candy last night. I'm feeling rather "sluggy" Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon. :)

Regular beef, not corned.

I have some celery, green onions, regular onions, carrots, peppers and kale.

I'm at work though, so I'd have to do this tomorrow morning before I head out to work.

Anyone ever try adding coke or beer to the recipe? I heard it's yum!

I've done coke....beer sounds good too! With regular beef brisket I just dump a bottle of my favorite bbq sauce and some sliced onions and put it on low all day.

Have not tried come or beer. We don't use either here so it would have to be a special purchase.

If you cook plain then you can make pot roast or stroganoff.
I add veggies and potatoes about two hours before I want to serve. So from work after you get home add celery carrots potatoes onion or whatever you want. Then wait about and hour. Or cut meat up add mushrooms cream and sour cream and egg noodles. Then wait about an hour...

Oh that sounds yum! My kiddos are usually pretty hungry when I get home though so that sounds like i'd have to do that on a weekend.

I gotta crack out my slow cooker more often!!! It's highly underutilized
