Good morning Pinky :)
How's it going for you?

Not too bad today actually. My oldest (10) is falling into the pre-teen ways of hitting snooze in the morning. Boy I can't wait till teenage years lol.

On top of that...yesterday evening I actually said, "In my day 50 cents would get you a lot for a snack after school." I was shocked lol.

 I could get a bag full of candy and a coke for a quarter!

Sure don't envy you the teen years ... they seem to last forever!

    Gooood morning all
    Morning Pinky! :)

You better believe I am, and none of the doctor's or dental people are helping ONE BIT! :grr:

Hey, did you have any trouble with that site Sirius is using? :?: They won't send me the e-mail to finish registration
I know you are absolutely frustrated, I am FOR you!!

Well, honestly...I didn't even notice the part about registering. But, I just did, and didn't have any problems. Are you using Google Chrome?? That's what I was using. I'd just try again if I were you. Maybe just a glitch. My email confirmation/activation link came instantly.

Well, I'm off to make the bed and run to the post office. Back in a bit.

Haha...My Pop used to say that he would be able to see a movie and get a meal for a quarter.

Yeah...but I'm looking at it like this: They're my step kids so i'm going into parenting from 7 and 10 onwards. If I could get through that, then hopefully when we have our own little peanut, I will be okay. I'm sure I'm going to eat my words on that LOL.

It wouldn't let me use anything unless I register ... and yes, I'm using Google Chrome
I've all ready tried twice

    Good morning lurkers!
Hope this finds you all safe and well?

GG I made Bruce the strawberry and coconut juice (didn't have TFA so used VZ) It was okay but did not have the sweetness, though once again very close. He added some of the Island Tobacco from VZ (sort of a lightly sweet caramel flavor) and it is delicious! I will be making it for myself with the Island in the mix next time I mix.

Pinky, LOL! I have told both kids and grands, "I remember penny candy, cigs were 21 cents a pack, a soda was a nickle, bread was .04, milk was delivered and gas was 22 cents (gas wars it was down to 11 for a bit). They just look at you like you have lost your mind. Ah, the good old days!... They opened the first McDonalds when I was a teen... I am only 2 days older than dirt...

DS's pickup broke down and his boss wants some cattle hauled so we will go do that today. Today is Bruce's first day of being unemployed, he is stressed... Tonight is a concert for the band so we will go watch GS play tonight. A good chance to visit with our grands. IF I get a chance at the PO before it closes I will mail a few packages out...

Sending out prayers for all but a few extra requests for Robin and Shad! I might pop in later to say good night but I suspect it will be late for most of you. Have a good day!

    Hi Bobbi!
    grouphug.gif
Hoping for a good day for you and your DH. Going to be a tough one for you both no doubt. :(

Dale, when you go the the link, you take your mouse pointer to the emo you want, you click it, then go to the text box toward the top of the page, "select all", "copy", then head back to where you want to paste. I was doing that for two days before I registered. It should work just fine. Unless you have some sort of security on your computer that won't allow it, then I can't help you. :(

P.S. - when you click the emo, you really can't even tell that the text box has changed.
