Ugh, it's garage sale day here. Village wide. I've listened to cars doors now for the last hour and a half. Our next door neighbors have one every year.

I used to hate that day when I was younger and lived at my parents house. They live in a sub division so people from miles around would pour into there trying to buy used baby clothes, mini fridges that work 80% of the time and 1981 Ramirez family reunion shirts lol

Yeah, I don't plan to leave to go anywhere, so it's not a big deal...but there will be lots of people all over town. I used to love to go when I was in my twenties. I never really bought a lot of stuff, but just always thought it was fun. But it was prob fun because the girlfriend I used to go to them with was hysterical. She was a young mother and looking for kids clothing, and whatever else caught her eye. We always had a good time.

They always start on Friday/Friday night too. So it's nearly impossible to escape what becomes a maze to get home. The bad thing is people are so FOCUSED on shopping that they don't bother to watch when the cross the street, or care how they park their car, or pull back into traffic. You have to be careful cuz they usually drag their little kids along and they'll dart out in traffic too.

Cool old stuff or like you said glassware, that's different.Well, my friends husband also worked construction, well...I can't remember what he did, but he really went through the clothes, so she would look for flannel shirts and jeans for him too.

...well, I guess I need to buy a lottery ticket today. I had my first EVER double yolk egg. I didn't eat it yet though. I always crack mine into a cup before cooking, so it's still in the cup.
Had to google to see if they were safe to eat, and they are...and supposed to bring good luck!!
