Right now I'm feeling pretty good so I may make a run to town later, then I have some cooking to do and I'm sure there's more laundry around somewhere

Maybe brush Elly out since I treated her for fleas last night.

There's something else I wanted to do but I can't remember what it was at the moment

Finally remembered what I forgot, run the dishwasher!

Good morning from me as well.

I was up at 5:30 with Rita, well, actually 4 when she was awake licking her paws But got up and took her outside, and fed her at 5:30. Went back to bed, finally fell back to sleep when DH was leaving, and just now woke up! Gracious, I feel like I've slept half my day away!

I really should make a run to the groc store for a few things, but I really don't want to go anywhere today.

Yep!
Put it in a tablespoon of medicine I was going to take (1 drop), was supposed to swish before I swallowed it ...

OH HECK NO!!!!

I swallowed that crap in a hurry and went running to the bathroom with tears streaming down my face!

I've since used a drop or two in a glass of yogurt smoothie, which ruins the taste but at least I can get it down

Just got off the phone with my nephew (in FL), he leaves for his new fishing guide job in Alaska next Wednesday.

I know I've mentioned it before, but he'll be there for four months. He is soooooo excited, and I'm really excited for him.

This is going into the "off season" for S. Florida. When it gets super hot down there, tourism goes way down. So, he's doing this to keep working year round. He'll return back home sometime in September.

Just so you all know, he's three years younger than me, we're really more like brother and sister, than aunt/nephew.

Anyhoodles, here is where he's going, and a pic of him and a fish he caught somewhere in FL.

I know, God Bless him, he's livin' the dream!!! Maybe not everyone's dream, but his.

He left his real world job, and an offer of well over 6 figures to do it too, his income has taken a HUGE hit, but he's so much happier than he was. He had a high stress, demanding job, and he just completely got burnt out. Decided he was going to "go for it" before he was too old and too tired.

I hadn't ever used it until he went to The Bahamas. We used it all the time when he was living there. I didn't have the iPad then, so we just talked through the computer using a microphone plugged into one of the plugs...and then we texted back and forth through it as well.

The WM's around here are always crazy busy. That's why I don't go to them anymore. The stores are just WAY TOO BIG, by the time you park, walk in and get all your stuff, leave, it feels like about a FIVE mile walking trip...no thank you. Course, I could prob use the exercise.

Well, guess I should go do something productive.
