up until i enlisted many eons ago...i had some really terribad jobs. i worked in a slaughterhouse, as a cab driver, luggage handler.

after the service, i've been really fortunate not just working in good fields, but working for really good people.

plus, they all understand the most important thing: bacon.

Gee Wheez, don't you know without that slaughterhouse there's no BACON???

oh i know...and unlike others that might been adversely affected by such an experience, i took heart knowing what i saw would lead to much yummy in mah tummy.

but the sights and smells were....rather horrific.

    you must be acclimated to it....but there is one. live animals make smells, the process of them becoming not live makes smells. i was the "winch-winder" for the giant hammer. so i worked right on the line.

    i never got to fire the hammer tho....

    I'm a Boilermaker

    What we are working on the Pots in the B.O.F of a Steel Mill. The pots are like huge mixing bowls for liquid hot metal. We have two of these to work on then we might move on to some other work. Here is the better pics u can see what we are actually working on.
