    Little tiny biting blood suckers :blink:
    biting midges, no-see-ums, Culicoides spp.

    Grilled pork ribs, brat's, chicken thighs, baked squash & zucchinni (sp?) and other goodies ... and cake of course :?:

    Oh goodness! I didn't realize you meant that literally! Or that there was such a thing!
    Where were you?

    The food sounds good though I don't know how you were able to enjoy it under the circumstances. Just reading about em is making me itch.

    I hope you have a relaxing time at the lake dear:D
    Thanks. I most certainly will very very soon.
    I didn't sleep too great last night so I'm looking forward to crawling into bed in a few mins.
    Sounds like you need to make that crawl yourself:lol:

    North doesn't have the same bugs as the South - the cold kills them... we just stew them into giant creatures of scary and bitey.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    The palmetto bugs are the worst. Palmetto bugs are a nice name for giant, giant, way too giant roaches.
    You left out the part about them FLYING!!

    ...FLYING ROACHES...we have those here too...but their smaller, and they call them wood roaches....the good news is that they nest in trees, and not in your house. :)

    :lol: And he expects you to go stay there?!! :laugh:
    Yep. :lol::lol::lol:
    I love snakes, those wouldn't have bothered me in the least. But that spider...um...no....no thank you. The spider was on top of an old muddobber (sp?) nest...if that gives you any idea of how BIG that was. We call those wood spiders...they are just NASTY!!

    OH THE FLYING!

    Nothing is more horrid than trying to CALMLY smash a roach that FLIES AT YOUR FACE!

    I'm shivering thinking about it.
    Yep. Thankfully they're nothing to kill. They're bodies are so soft they really have no chance in life. :laugh: :shudder:
