I did not see a single sign about vaping. Not one. Also never saw a vape shop and I did not catch sight of another vaper for the first 9 hours I was there.

Of course I did *not* ask any of those Jerks for their opinions! It would have been laughable if it wasn't so incredibly dangerous. Seems like we the people used to be able to think and act and do the homework for ourselves, you know?

Exactly. Last time I checked, I'm a grown adult. Perfectly capable of making my own decisions, and taking full responsibility for the decisions that I make.

Course, as a side note...in public, I only vape where smoking is permitted, excluding our office at work. There are only two of us there, and we both vape...so there are no issues.

Oh well, not much you can do but thank them for their concern, and bless them and release them.

I think vaping has been banned in NYC

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I know I saw that it was banned in Central Park, and I thought the subway too. Course, come to think of it, I don't think that you can smoke anywhere in NYC either, so that would stand to reason if they were so nasty about the vaping.

Sad that some places manage to micro manage lives the way they do.

I thought I had read somewhere around here that vaping had been banned, but I can't say for certain.... I generally vaped only where I saw smokers smoking and several times it was right in front of nypd, and they never said boo to me..

Well that's good. I'm sure that a lot of those who have to enforce the laws think that the bans are just as stupid!
I don't know, NY prob wouldn't be that bad. I've just only ever lived in small towns my whole life, and only visited large cities. I guess I'm just not a "city" type person, but I'm also sure that a lot of people wouldn't want the small town life that suits me either.

Well...I'm off to veg for a bit.

...I didn't used to be THAT type of morning person...but, I've turned into that. DH even knows now that if he gets up when I do to go to the basement to watch the morning news. I can't help it, but I don't want to hear all the garbage at 5:30 in the morning. If I want the weather, I go to my phone or computer.

...okay...nap time.
