gonna have to get used to the buttons...i don't like that you have to cycle through all the volts/watts to get back to the one you want, there's no up or down it just goes round and round...other than that, I like it :) it does pretty much everything the TECs does but about an inch shorter, twice the width and half the weight

Aw, you'll get used to that if you play around with it some :)

Now it's time to get DH up :/ and cook his dinner.
WHAT AWESOME NEWS GG!!! You and Dave MADE MY DAY!!!

That reminds me of the story of why people cut the ends off their hams
Great grandma did it so everyone else did ..... great grandma did it because her ham wouldn't fit the pan
    That is too funny!!!

I have a funny family story...
DH's grandmother gave us her silver turkey poker. A big, two prong, fork type tool to that they called "the turkey poker".
Well, it seems that DH's grandparents had gone to an estate sale, and they had looked all over the things that would be sold, and DH's grandmother wanted this turkey fork. Well, when it went up for auction, they weren't standing together, one was on one side of the mass of people, one on the other....the bidding for the fork got rather heated, and was down to just two bidders, then the auctioneer stopped and said..."Hey, wait a minute...aren't you two TOGETHER?":facepalm::lol:
Yep, they were bidding against each other...DH's grandfather was DETERMINED to get that poker for his beloved.

Xena is going to her new home on Friday or Saturday :)

The lady called me and said that she didnt need to meet her and that she definitely wants her and will be by this weekend to get her. Im happy knowing that she'll be going to a good home

I'm so glad it turned out so well for you! It does look delish! And I just made it a couple of days ago. I want it again!

I probably should have warned you that it will fall apart ;)
It does really well with the wine as a deglazing liquid. Half a cup or so.
If you want to bump the flavor up a bit without the wine, those little packets of Swanson Flavor Boost work great. One packet is good. It's really concentrated flavor.

It is such an easy dish to make. I bet you will have it more often.

I have a couple of ideas, if you'd like, for the leftovers. That's if there are any. Bwahahahaha!

There actually is like half the thing left, my kiddos don't eat much, and tx is never very hungry after work, I asked him if he wanted this for tomorrow too and he said it was fine so any ideas you have are appreciated! I'm the worst housewife ever lol I use to consider myself a good cook but.....Apparently I only have like 3 things I make well lmao. Pasta, boudain stuffed pork chops & stuff from packaging -_-

I make a hash out of the left overs. My pot pie never turns out really well. It gets too dry on me.

Cube the leftover everything. Small cubes.

You can either put it in a pie tin and throw a crust over it and bake till the crust is golden. You may need to add a bit more liquid depending on how much gravy is left.

Or just throw the leftovers, that you've cubed, into a frying pan, dump the gravy in and heat through. I let it sit until the bottom gets browned and a nice crisp on it. Mix it up and brown and crisp. Just keep doing that till the gravy is just about all gone....either by evaporating the water out or it gets absorbed into the potatoes. Not sure where that liquid all goes.

I call that dish my version of roast beef hash. LOL.
