so what's everyone up to today?
I had to go work at another store this morning....*shivers* I might complain about my store and employees...but omfg do I love them....the store I was at today was a disaster...filthy....there was even dust on the walls.....nuff said....and even though there were 3 of us there, I was the only one on register really? ok I get that the ast is still fairly new so it took her the entire time to do paperwork....the cashier....pft might as well have been sent home...she was supposedily sstocking the cooler.....6 hours stocking the cooler? sure...I don't even know where she was most of the time and honestly didn't care!
I only asked her to run register twice, once so I could step out and vape....she's all like sure and instead of jumping on her register just stands there staring at me while I'm still taking customers....and then once so I could use the bathroom, only to find out that there wasn't any tp at all in the bathroom....I ask where they keep their tp "Oh check the first stall, if none in there check the mens restroom, or here's some paper towels" ok that helps me but what about your customers? Weren't you just in there less than an hour ago?
So I had to go and crawl my way through their backroom filled with a crap load of boxes of cups (someone over ordered) and finally all the way in the very back was a box of tp so of course me being me takes out the 4 needed rolls to resupply the womens restroom.
I'm surprised no customers had said anything to me....guess it's a shame that it seems their customers are used to the store in this condition.

I remember getting food poisoning once while DH and I were traveling, he pulled into a quickie mart/gas station type place, I don't remember which one, but it was one of the big chains.
Well, sorry if TMI, but what I'd eaten was about to exit my body by it's original point of entry....that bathroom was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ABSOLUTELY GROSS, there was no way I was putting my face ANYWHERE near the toilet...I eyed the big open round trash can, and I won't even DESCRIBE what was in that!! Y'all I ran back outside and parked my rear on the curb clutching my stomach...DH finished up paying for the gas, he asked if I'd thrown up yet, I told him I couldn't that the bathroom was too gross. I asked him to buy some trash bags and paper towels inside and we'd just see how I did....
THANKFULLY, there was a Hilton Garden's right behind the gas station so he got us a room there. I somehow made it to the room before I got sick....but you know it is a real shame that nobody takes responsibility to do their job.
Don't they rotate who is responsible for cleaning/stocking things, basic sanitation duties, etc. ?? Like you said, especially if that's the bathroom that the employees have to use too.
Can you report it to a district manager or something?? Surely someone has responsible for that.
