It was 61 degrees here today and now it is 25 and they are saying we may get snow tomorrow.

Good morning guys!!!! Wind is blowing and we've got a mix of ice and rain right now :/ saying 1/2" of ice accumulation by 6. Safe travels everybody! Charleston isn't use to this weather

1984 April 4th I was trying to move... 3-6 inches of snow. I was 24 about to turn 25.
The movers were 4 hours late cause they had to find/buy snow chains
6 months later DH moved in with me. He's still here 30 years and umpteen moves later.

I'm pretty sure my son's school will be making days up at the end of the year. They closed school a couple weeks ago because it was "too cold" I guess most people in Charleston don't know what layers are

Hey MW I feel your pain it`s -11 here. Luck for me this is my day off I switch shifts to 3-11 tomorrow so I got lucky.

GG, I'd be in back in bed too. Contemplating it myself.
We almost always had to go over on our snow days and make it up at the end. I remember one year HS graduation wasn't until something like June 12th. Personally, I don't know why they don't pull a Saturday here or there if they have stuff to make up. I guess is interferes with sports.
I also remember a few years ago, the local weather was reporting that we were supposed to have this HUGE winter storm, up to 6 inches or more. They'd been going on and on for about a week beforehand, schools and businesses closed, and I mean over a hundred schools closed. We didn't get a solitary flake of snow. It was too funny!!
CG, be careful out there today! Anyone else who has bad weather too!
Welsh, you mentioned you like sarcasm the other day, right?? Also that you missed an office environment. Here is a link to a blog you might enjoy. The guy doesn't post often, but they're gems if you appreciate good sarcasm. Seems he has a boss who leaves him the most bizarre note via post its. Read the post it first, then his response above it... Some are absolutely hysterical.
