I know how that home is where thing is!

Cake is a compressed hay with grain, vitamins, suppliments and minerals to increase the protein during cold months when they need a little extra. The hay gives the extra bulk that isn't there as they eat off the grass from the summer. Always fun to watch peoples faces when you tell them you feed the cows cake!

As long as they're not getting vanilla cream cheese icing with that cake, too.

LOL, sorry I couldn't resist! That house is a little older than ours... not a lot but...
It's not much to look at even less with the drought the last couple of years but if you want to see a real one I will find one where it is in the back ground... it isn't much of a focal point!

Those are minis not ponies! Yeah, I know looks like a pony, acts like a pony only they are worth more cuz of the breeding (or so they tell me... I don't see ever selling them and they are a huge pain the hind quarters!)

Yep that's Poppa with Bella. The blonde is Grace.

actually, I don't know that I have a pic that is just the house... BRB gotta find a pic with the house in it... this might take a minute...

VG I can run out to the box car and get you some cake but I doubt you are gonna want it very bad... unless you want to feed a cow or horse by hand... then it is kind of ok, I prefer to feed them hay by hand, they all have such BIG teeth!

LOL Dale, I really don't care if they are called ponies and neither does Bruce, that is what all the "Mini Horse" snob people say when you call them ponies. They act just like them, only good point it the girls love them and aren't ever intimidated by size.

Here is the best I could do on the house and a much better pic of Bella and Poppa out feeding cows. Bella is our 3 year old driver (as long as it is in 4 wheel drive, granny and I am in the front seat too) Here she was driving home from feeding.

After that explanation, maybe you should do it. Big teeth that close to my hands makes me think twice. I'll err on the side of caution.

I cringe when the girls want to feed them cake by hand! With 10 horses all wanting a piece of cake and fighting to get close enough to reach I am ready to walk away the second they get bored with it! They don't feed the cows by hand. We only have a couple of the really old girls (cows) that will do that and are some what trust worthy!

If you don't give it much gas the path back to the house is deep enough you don't have to pay much attention, it won't climb out unless you are really off track... she thinks she's doing great though! Grace really is old enough to start focusing now and so really over steers, makes your back sore just getting home and it's only a couple of miles!

Thank you both, we are overly proud of both of them! What can I say, they are spoiled rotten but they are ours and we can send them HOME! with lots of sugar rush and loud toys!!!
