Lurking?? How to find a home within all the forums and threads?

I was just getting all caught up on what I have missed. Still full from supper. Ended up fixing Kielbasa with onions and corn, rice and of course I had to fix cabbage too. The the cornbread was just Jiffy but I love cornbread. I tried to get Daddy to come over. He only lives about 3 miles away. But he didn't want to get out in the rain and I don't really blame him. But he sure missed a good meal.

I think maybe a little glass of wine would help me right now. I have had a headache since I last night. My son has been having problems with his stomach and urinating for the past 2 weeks. I think he may have a UTI. This morning about 7 I was getting ready to go to bed and he says he needs to go to the doctor so I looked up Primecare and they didn't open til 10. So I shower and wash my hair and about 9 I was gonna go get dressed and he tells me it is feeling better so he was gonna wait. I hope he calls tomorrow but he is grown and I can't make him do anything. Men. View attachment 281171

Ouch! He really should go! But I know what you mean. Men can be quite stubborn when it comes to going to the doctor.

I'm sorry dad decided to stay in too! It's freezing out there! Quite the change from a couple of days ago.

Yep! That's her! Sometimes I feel so bad for her. Especially right now during the holidays. We're fully staffed to make it through New Years but we're going to start looking for some better people after. We did get lucky with one of our hires though. I work a lot right now but she's there more hours than I am. And she has a husband, a 3 yr old son & a 1 yr old daughter. I don't know how she does it.

At the moment I'm gonna say not tomorrow ... at least I hope not, got a lot of laundry to do on Monday's.

I don't go in til 3:30. The mall closes at 10 now so I'll get off at 10:30...another reason why I hate retail during the holidays.

I don't like it either but thankfully it won't last long.

We never close alone & we always walk out together & security is increased so there's always someone outside of the exits.
