 Did I know that???

What will you do with it? Go see mom & dad?

I think i might have mentioned it a while back. We get paid time off for all we have to endure during the holiday. And the great thing is that it doesn't count against our vacation time...or in my case the time that I'm building. :)

Well he's kind of coy about it but I think there's a woman involved :sneaky:

At least I hope so!!!!

Well that's great! I sure hope so too:D

Ugh yes! I had no clue what I would pull out. Bare handed too. I tried not to think about what might be there, just focused on my determination to not let that downspout get the best of me :D

Yuck! You're a great DIL!

    Wow! That's fantastic Chim :)

I worked for Tim more than five years before I got a vacation ... and then it was a trade off instead of a raise.

    Sorry...I got distracted.

Wow! That's just plain crazy! Especially if you were working full time.

Yeah! Especially considering that I lost 2 weeks of vacation back in April when the old job switched management companies. It would've been 2 years before I got any kind of paid vacation time & it would've taken 4-5 years before I'd build back up to the 2 weeks I'd earned with the previous company in just 2 years. I lost my vaca, personal, & holiday time (1 paid personal holiday per year...I normally used it for my bday).

Okay all caught up, and half asleep. I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.

    Nite everyone. y'all.

    Night Lori dear. Sleep well.

Well  Apparently it was kind of an unheard of thing for him

He has no sense in some ways

Boy you really can't catch a break can you :(

    Awwh ok.

That's why I broke away. Some of the other managers had been with the company for 5-9 years. They lost all kinds of time & they wouldn't pay us for it. It was just lost. We also didn't have much time to use what we had. We found out about the buy out in February & it was done the beginning of April. I got out easy. Some people had planned & paid for vacations expecting that they'd have a paycheck for that time & they had to take the time off or lose the deposits for the vacation because they couldn't afford to go & not be paid for the time off.

I'm so glad to be away from that company. From what I hear a bunch of other people have jumped ship as well since I left. It was rough there for a second but it's getting better:)

    Ouch hon :(

Well, hopefully life will get better for you in January ... if not I may have to come out there! :grr:

 Think it would do any good?

You don't have to stick around here dear ... go play if you want to, or go to bed or whatever :)

That was all with the old job. Things are looking up now:)
Oh but if it gets you out here...I hate everything

I was putting some clothes in the dryer.
I was bouncing around a lil. It's strange how tired you can be but your body still doesn't want to go to sleep. You'd think I wouldn't need to take meds. But I'll be around for a bit.

Did you get a nap today? I know you didn't sleep well if at all last night from what you told me.

I'm not going to run quite yet. I don't get to go in to work at 3:30 too often. Think I'm gonna play around for a bit.
