Water thawed in the middle of the night last night so that helped a bunch today! Catch you all sometime tomorrow! We'll see how much time I have before the girls get up... Otherwise I'm not certain what time we will take them home but after that I am going to sit here and try to catch up!

Sorry I missed everyone tonight. My pinto's were good but I had lots of juice left over so the left overs from all the stuff I made.....I just threw it in the pinto beans and juice. OMgosh it made a wonderful thick soup. Hubby had some more and I keep going back for a spoonful and a bite of cornbread. Those bunches of little bites sure do add up cause I am stuffed.

The co-op I have been watching since October is down to just 1 Sigelei zmax mini. One. Uno. It is calling my name so loudly. Please give me strength.

I should be getting my 18350's today so that will make me happy. Right? Short mode? And I should be getting my Creme Brulee. I've got to find something to do with the Vanilla Rum. I feel a Christmas recipe coming. I had Pumpkin Tumble for Thanksgiving so it is only fair to find something special for Christmas. Or I could just go to the liquor store and make sure it's happy. What ever works.

My son just got up to go to the bathroom and came in here and asked me when the doctors office opens? It's a shame you were all asleep and miss a rare moment where a man admits defeat. bahahahaha View attachment 281258 I'll let ya know what the doc says.


I just got finished watching a movie with Dean Cain called "Defending Santa". So cute. And the movie was too. bahahahhaha Made me get all teary eyed. Made me start remembering when the kids were little and still believed. They gave me their Christmas lists one year. My daughter had just started school and her list was so long there was no way to get it all. My son wrote his list out which he had gotten suggestions from a catalog that came to my mom. Along with his list there was attached coupons for everything he wanted which was just a short list. He has always been special. People tell me he was born with a "old soul". I still have those letters and wouldn't trade them for 2 Provari's. heehee My gosh I'm all nostalgic and stuff.

Ok I'm gonna "hush" for tonight. Sorry I've been so posty.

R2C2, I agree with Dale, that is just precious!!! So glad DS is finally going to the doctor.

Dale & Chim, that's so sad about the vacation, and time off issues you were discussing last night. It's just so hard to wrap my head around that companies do that to people, and people just have to take it. Just so very sad. Somehow, someway...that stuff has to come back around to them!!

Well, it's back to work for me today. I'm ready to get out of this house (for sure), but I am so not ready to go face the cold.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!! I'm off. I plan to leave earlier this a.m. I just want to allow plenty of time to get to work. I would imagine the roads are okay by now, but we had some freezing drizzle last night, and I'm sure I'll have some to clean off the car.
(DH just let me know that the roads are fine.)

We're at 26. St. Louis just said that with wind chill, the feels like is in the teens to single digits. I know it's much colder is some places, but gal, that's just cold no matter where you are. 27 is supposed to be the high today, I think we may have already had our high, but we go above freezing (barely) tomorrow. Dusting of snow for overnight. I'm off tomorrow.

......okay, I'm out. Better get moving.

Good morning

My hands don't want to work today. Sorry for just bailing last night, as soon as my sneakers were dried in the dryer, I hit the bed....hard! LOL.

I honestly don't miss the cold, but seeing all the beautiful snow pictures with the Christmas decorations.... It figures, the first year that actually happens, I'm not living there. I hope there is snow in Michigan so I can see that sight. It's the only time I like the snow.
