Could you imagine coming into this thread and starting at the beginning? With how many posts it grows daily, it might be difficult to catch up haha.
LOL! Hi! I see you are being call 23 so I'll just call you that until you tell us differently:) I think the "tone" of things has changed quite a bit over the long haul so wouldn't bother with the beginning (unless you're one of those who must)Jump in with us & have some fun!

Well, I owe Dale an answer to the "why did you come here" question. Honestly, it was to gain access to the classifieds. I'd already done my research elsewhere & this site is so overwhelming, I didn't think I'd hang out here, but I'm a bargainaholic. Got in enough posts to get verified, and in the process, decided I could probably actually contribute and learn something by hanging around. Baditude rocks, BTW. Then I had my eureka moment. I needed pretty gear to make the full transition from smoking to vaping. I met Stormy in Dragonbone's "show me your pretty" thread, and followed her here during the decoration contest. I'd met a few of you before, GG, Robin, Wanda & Kayte, but the rest I met here. It just felt like home, so here I am, and here I'll stay. My luggage ain't got 'nuthin on ya'll.
:) I'm so glad you stay Charm, your wit is "classic"!

We had fried rice & spring rolls. Been craving it for days.....turns out I was getting it psychically from DH.....
    LOL! That happen's don't it:laugh:

    Hi Doll! Luggage!
Oh yeah :( LOADS of Luggage.

It's...interesting. It doesn't rise much and it's a little on the dense side, but moist and pretty tasty.
 Around here that mean's we don't like it but are too polite to say so!
I figure I'm not going to get out of this life alive, so I'm going to enjoy the bacon while I can.
    Indeed! Couldn't agree more :)
Oh poo. I got it hoping to be able to use it as a sweetner in my concoctions.
Maybe it will be better steeped or thinned.

Oh the oldest cAt is now letting the dog lick her. Like he's giving her a bath :)
Sorry about your juice GG :( But that's so sweet about your cat & dog :)
is it still a job when you enjoy it so much?
It's nice to be able to do something you love isn't it? Makes all the difference in the world how you view each day:)
I am all well and have made my way out of the 10th dimension therefore the funk has lifted!

Stormy, this is soooo good to hear ...err...see...uh...know:laugh:

Wow! Lot's to read this morning, it was nice :)

I could when I was a teenager...LOL!!! Now, it makes me sleepy to read.......:( But it could just be the act of just sitting still in one place for more than 5 minutes that does it.....:lol:

......I don't want to go to work.:cry: For the record, I love my job. I really do. I work with great people, in fact we're all pretty much like family. Most of us have worked together there for more than 10 years. We sometimes grate on each others nerves, but that will be found anywhere. What I really don't like about "going to work" is the "getting up" and "getting ready for work", well...and the "leaving" part....oh, and the commute stinks....but it's only about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

    Good morning, Dale!

    Good morning, ever-buddy!

I did, actually, and it is! :)

    I think I lapsed into unconsciousness around 9 or 9:30 (my time). Woke around 3 - 3:30

(got a lot of things on my mind that won't start being resolved until Monday)

Excellent on the sleep DeeJ! :) Sorry on the "issues"; may your Monday approach swiftly!

Morning Dale, Lori, DeeJ & anyone I missed!

Lori I wish reading put me to sleep. If I have a really good read I have to make myself put it down or else ill be up all night. Lol!

Been there, done that!! I try to take a "not so interesting" book to bed so I don't get all hyped-up about what's next now days. Of course I might be reading 4 different books at one time too:blush:
Your opening statement appears chipper, hope you are truely feeling that way:)

Forum is basically DEAD this morn; guess it's a good time to go do some house work -

I am for the most part Dale dear. I won't go into detail...lol the boys wouldn't want to hear about it.

But to answer your question...I have a app on my cellphone called tapatalk that sends me an alert that someone's posted to a thread that I'm subscribed too. It works pretty good most of the time. It also lets me know if someone quoted my post or if they sent me a pm.

House cleaning...uggggh maybe Saturday. I might actually be able to borrow an associate to cover my store Saturday so I can get a much need break. Fingers crossed!!!!

That's why I had to stop reading in bed :)

BTW ... I have an odd ball question. How do you guys know so fast when someone has entered a post? Do you "hear" something or what?
The only way I know is when someone 'like's' something & I have to go see where it came from:(

You can tell ECF to send you email when somebody posts to one of the threads that you're subscribed to... that's what I do...

For a new thread subscription, you click on Thread Tools, then select "Subscribe to this Thread...". It takes you to a new page with "Notification Type" and "Folder". In "Notification Type", select "Instant notification by email" then click "Add Subscription".

For threads you're already subscribed to, open your Settings page (link at the top of the screen), then select "Subscriptions" (on the left) to open up a list of all your subscriptions. Tick the checkbox for the thread you want to be notified about (checkbox on the right), then go to the bottom of the page and click the "Selected Threads" button. An options list will open and you'll want to select "Instant, via email" and then click the "Go" button.

"Instant" isn't. It takes a few minutes...
