I have had my lux for several days now... First of all, I love love love how it looks and feels in my hand. It seems like it's really solid and well made, which is what I've come to expect from Modern Vapor. The charge length surpasses what I have with my riva and ego, I think they are around 650 mah. The riva is higher but I can't remember.. and I'm not gonna look it up right now. 7?? maybe? Anyway, I've had a cold, so all my flavors taste "off" so I imagine my experience will improve greatly once I'm past that. I first used the lux battery and cone with the 510 atomizer I'd been using. I found that it worked well on one battery and didn't seem to be making a connection on the other one. Then starting yesterday I decided to attach the 902 (regular atty, not the SS that also came with the kit). I can't say how it's going though because my taste and inhale capacity are seriously under par with this cold. I'll get back to you. But so far, I am super happy with my purchase and I feel it was worth the wait and the money.

If you take a paperclip end and insert it into the atomizer hole on the screw side, and gently lift out the contact point this should work. I fixed many atomizers people sent back to me by lifting up the contact point in the atomizers.
Thanks for the tip Tony, I will try that. Lelek, I've had both my Riva and Ego for many many months... um more than 4, less than 8 months probably. I still love and use them, especially the Riva. But I decided to get the Lux because I've had a Sidesho for longer and like the flavor on the Modern Vapor atomizers that I've had. I had been waiting for the lux to be be the best of both worlds... and I think it is.
Even though I'm not overly crazy about the taste of the prefilled carts that came with it...have a lot of juice coming in the next couple days...I have not had an analog since yesterday when I started this! LOVE it!! So happy I made this choice! And the lux, although large, feels more than comfortable. I have a sideshow coming also, so I'll have a smaller unit for those times smaller would be more convenient.
Thanks, Garnoch! My sideshow comes tomorrow, I think? The LUX gets better every time I pick it up! Now, I do have a question about the attys. I read that they retain some flavor and people designate attys with a particular flavor so they don't get mixed. That sounds like I would need a LOT of attys as I'm expecting a significant number of juice samples. Any way to reduce the flavor retained in an atty? Thanks!
really the only flavors which people designate a certain atomizer for is usually the menthol/minty flavors, these flavors really stick around on the atomizer for awhile. Most of all the other flavors pass though pretty easily without leaving a heavy undertone stuck on the atomizer when you switch to a new flavor.
True. Usually after a little bit, you'll taste the new flavor by itself.
I'm not sure if this should be done, but I use to rinse the atomizers out with water, blow them out with my mouth, then drop a couple drops of the new flavor directly on the atty to prime it before putting the cart on. Its definitely a challenge when trying a lot of new flavors. I probably have 30 or 40 flavors I gave up on after the first try. I still try a new one here or there but have settled on basically 2 flavors that each has its own atty.

This LUX is, well, there are no words to express how happy I am I switched to vaping and this LUX is just so...Perfect! Rcvd my sideshow, also. It will def. be convenient for on the go! I'll tell anyone that will listen how much I love my new PV's from Modern Vapor! Already have a friend that will hopefully be at your site soon!

I think you can use a particular atty with a group of compatible flavors.
One atty for all your candy/sweet flavors....
One atty for all your tobacco flavors....
One atty for all your minty flavors....
etc....
That way the switch is not drastic within a particular atty and also you would only need a few different attys --- one for each flavor group you vape.

By the way, although the Sidesho rocks, if you want smaller than a LUX and are okay with larger than a Sidesho, grab some 902 batteries. That way you can use your Sidesho chargers and your LUX (902) attys. Just pop the 902 atty off the LUX and onto the 902 battery and head out onto the town.
