ckreef...that's exactly what I was thinking! Haven't been able to put down my PV all day! Keep switching back n forth between the espresso and honey flue! Do you have a fav. juice?

I've only tried about 8 different flavors -- but I like the sweet candy the best. I gave up analogs to go with electronics so I am not really into the tobacco flavors as I am too afraid that may drive me back to an analog again,

Peach is my favorite as it has a really strong, very real, very sweet flavor.

By the way, although the Sidesho rocks, if you want smaller than a LUX and are okay with larger than a Sidesho, grab some 902 batteries. That way you can use your Sidesho chargers and your LUX (902) attys. Just pop the 902 atty off the LUX and onto the 902 battery and head out onto the town. :) Good luck!

That's what I was thinking about doing...glad you mentioned it so I know the setup works with the charger and all.

The charging case also holds the 902? That is great news...now I feel better knowing that when I do get 902's I won't be wasting the money spent on the Sidesho. I think also it was mentioned in another thread here that the 902 atty fits on a Sidesho so I am planning on trying that as well since the Lux has 902 atties. I guess I constant vape right now just starting out so wondering...do the 902 atties get hot as quick as the Sidesho atty?

Unless case designs changed, it should work. Maybe ask Tony at MV first though.

The 902 attys were recently changed slightly to allow better compatibiliy with the 510, but yes the 902 atty should fit on the Sidesho battery. the battery will be longer that a 902 battery and a little skinnier that the 902. You may also have a gap between the atty and battery so don't over tighten.

I feel the Sidesho gets hotter faster than the 902.

My Lux should be in todays mail according to tracking. Haven't figured out yet how I am going to explain it's arrival...just muddle through I guess...lol

Back to the 902...is the battery life longer between charges than the Sidesho? I'm contemplating whether I should switch everything over to the 902 or just get Sidesho parts as needed. Battery life on the Sidesho really isn't that bad...used it all last night and into this morning but now does need another charge. I've gotten used to topping off the cartridge often but I guess you have to do that with all of them right? At first I was getting a lot of juice on my lips but now when I top off I get none or very little so guess I am learning my lessons. If I want to change the material in the cart can I use polyester stuffing material? I tried that blue foam (using the foam that came with my Sidesho) and straw method and yuck! I could not stand the taste of that and how it ruined my flavor of the Honey Flue Nut.

I'll try to answer your questions like this.... :)

1. 902 and Sidesho battery always seemed the same to me, I'd go through about 2 a day and I always keep 3 in rotation - one that I use and 2 in the case.

2. Yes, you have to top off or refill all but the 902 (LUX) atty holds way more so you refill less often, about half as often. I find the 902 atty almost never leaks but if you're leaking on the Sidesho, you are overfilling so be careful and try to avoid that.

3. You can definitely feel free to change the cart material. Personally I found the blue foam to be a world of difference and love it. It keeps a consistent flow to the atty. At the first sign of flavor change, I refill. In a 902 atty, its about 25 drops on brand new foam and about 15 to refill. I never get a bad taste but you need to make sure you rinse it well with water before use. If for some reason that didn't work for you, give it a couple days. I've never heard of anyone having a taste added by the foam though - if it was rinsed well. After that I use it without washing or changing it for perhaps a month or two. As for the straw or spring method, I never saw the point in complicating it, never had the need. I use just blue foam.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask more.

Thanks for answering my questions...I did not wash the blue foam...and of course tried that other method that leaked a lot. I will give it a fair chance and do it properly. I've noticed haywire taste buds anyway...think I vaped too much last night and this morning. I'm thinking of going shopping (internet) tonight for some different flavored juices.

My Lux came...ashamed to say I haven't even opened it yet...will do that tonight also when everyone is involved in TV.

My passthrough that came with the Sidesho apparently burned up...makes the atty so hot and no vaper. I also apparently killed one battery for the Sidesho...green light comes on saying it is charged but no light comes on the end of it when in use and no vapor...all within a week time. Don't know what I did wrong. Don't know if I ruined those atties or not.

I've never been able to deal with the taste of the blue foam even after rinses. If you can still taste it, try the pyramid tea bag mod.

Okay...tried the Lux and love it!!! So glad I got it!

Does seem like I am continually topping off though...I did the same with the Sidesho but that seems to have improved. My tastebuds are back to normal today...seems like yesterday the blue foam took over all day...and of course I didn't rinse it at all. Scheherezade since you say you taste it even with rinsing I am afraid to try it now...that was horrible! I wish Tony sold something that we could use that is similar to the stuff that is already in there...or does he?

Another question...about the 902...what is the advantage of the 902 over the Sidesho? Since I have a burned out battery and know even if my attys are still good I will still need to replace them sometime so could switch over to a 902 set up that would work with my Sidesho charger...and of course 902 parts as far as atty and carts work with my Lux so that is a plus!

Wow two people that taste the blue foam. Very interesting and good to know. As far as burning stuff up - I did too and I swear it gets easier.

If it makes any difference I can also taste and smell the chlorine in tap water. Doesn't seem to matter how much. I can only deal with filtered stuff. When I was a medic, I could smell ketones on someone a mile away. (Something diabetics produce when their sugar is too high). That was when I was a smoker. Thankfully, it only seems to be certain things I'm hypersensitive to.

@beachlover: it may be worth trying to rinse the foam. I know I'm not the only one who can taste it, but I believe I'm in the minority.

If I decide to rinse the foam and try it I will do it late in the day. Don't want to have it mess up my taste buds all day like it did the last time...lol Trying the pyramid tea bag next since I went to the store and got some yesterday.

That is VERY interesting. My ex-husband used to get what I called the "funny" smell. I had no idea what it was...but it wasn't a "bad breath" thing. And I know recently his blood sugar was testing high. That was when I was a smoker too. I also smell chlorine in water. I'm wondering if I shouldn't get the blue foam like I had planned too this week ::gulp::

What is the red one in the pic? I like that, lol. I would love to see a pic of the Lux, Ego and Riva all next to each other...if anyone has all three and the time and inclination.

The red Lux in the picture is especially pretty...that is the one I have. Can't help you on the pic though as I only have the Sidesho and the Lux.

I was also wondering about the filter stuff in a regular cigarette...don't know if that would work or not. I have noticed though that the more you fill the carts the more saturated the filler stuff gets and seems to last longer between refills.
