Help!! ~ S O S ~ My tank isn't working :( ...
Okay, I was soooo danged excited I got my tank. Read these threads and decided to go w/2 holes on my fusion. Welp it was flooded almost immediately, so I pulled out a new one and put one hole in it. Worked fine until I refilled it, then it flooded. WTH??? So I took a syringe w/blunt tip and sucked off some juice. Worked for a sec, now it's flooded again. And it's leaking out the bottom into connection (sealed connection so I'm good there), my guess is from it flooding, AND have some seepage around the top cap where the carto comes out. Not a tight fit there at all not like my other carto tank that shall remain nameless.. I thought both ends were the same?? But that's minor, why is my carto continuing to flood??????? I just don't get it.... I'm gona empty out the tank (again) and vape my carto until it's almost dry, but I'm not going to fill it again yet.

Couple of questions Vikki...are you using a syringe to fill thru the screw hole? If so, try not to force the juice in too fast, and leave a little air gap instead of filling completely.

How tight are you making the screw when you replace it? You want it just touching the carto and no tighter. If you tighten it too much it will force the carto out of alignment and cause it to leak.

Here's what I do when my carto floods. Blot the top of the carto with a q-tip or kleenex, then hold the kleenex over the carto's .... and blow to clear the center tube. I also have a long sewing needle I use to keep the center clear by reaming it thru and wiping off the excess.

It's a little bit of a learning curve but you'll get it...and it will be SO worth it :)

Thx bov:
Yes I am using a syringe to fill thru screw hole. Filled to about screw hole line. Maybe it was too fast.

Screw I actually loosened it up so it wasn't touching at all after I noticed it was seeping/loose there. I thought the screw might be the problem...

Pulled some juice off of carto w/syringe. Will try q-tip.. Did plug .... of carto w/finger and blew (gently) and juice came out of top of tank around carto where loose. Wasn't expecting that  Hmmm must find long sewing needle or maybe a hat pin would work :)..

I really want this to work, I'm not new to tanks have about 1/2 dozen, but all are ce2 tanks except 1. I just don't have a carto for it which is why I'm not using it... Mike's tube's are too loose for those end caps (darn it cuz they're such a purty purple, I got an xtra tube to try it out).

Edit: Juice viscosity is not thick. It's either 75/25 or 70/30 (not sure what last batch was) and RTS nic/pg/vg

When you blow thru the carto don't completely plug off the .... end...the point is to use the kleenex sorta like a diaper to catch the juice you are trying to clear out of the center of the carto. Mine will often flood a bit on refills too :)

The hat pin is a good idea! You just want something long and thin enough to go thru the center tube of the carto.

I started putting a very tiny hole in mine. Also I learned when I used a larger one and it flooded I would turn it upside down so the hole was out of the juice and then take a couple puffs until it cleared. The hole I use now is about the size of a paperclip.

To get the paper off I just use a drill and sandpaper. I peeled it off one time then used goof off on the glue but I don't like using chemicals on things like that.

Ok, that makes sense. I barely filled it and as long as there is a way I can hold it so the liquid isn't hitting the hole while I'm vaping it is just fine... I'm using a saddle valve so I think I'll practice on the first fusion that already has too many holes in it.. That way I can count my turns and get it right. Thx soooo very much everyone for the awesome help!! Will update when I get back and "get-r-done!!!

Update :)

Figured out why I'm having such an issue w/the top cap... Ummmm does everyone else have an o-ring on both ends??? Mine only has an o-ring on one end, which since it was the farthest end from the filler screw I chose that as the bottom end. Now since all my other tanks are of the ce2 kind there is no o-ring I can rob from, and I'm not taking the o-ring outta of my lil bvd purple end caps, I just can't make myself do that, I mean they're purple!!

I used the saddle valve and after testing different turns on the old carto from that other tank, I decided on 3 1/2 turns. It looks small. It didn't pop tho like the other one did when it got pierced. I thought 3 1/4 looked too small, hope I wasn't wrong.. Hate to waste fusions, I'm not made of $$$... Anyhow I filled it a lil less than 1/2 way, let it sit for a while and now am vaping it. So far so good. I think the big test will be on the refill, that seems to be when all of the issues kick in..

Afterthought.. Could part of my problem be no o-ring on top cap?? Not enough vacumn or whatever happens w/a good seal??? Plz don't laugh if that is a really dumb ?? lol.. I dunno the technical parts of these things, I just want them to work :)
