I've had my 402 for a week, and it was great while the five starter carts lasted. I'm now waiting until tomorrow for one of the liquid vendors to re-open so I can try the whole re-fill/dripping thing. I do have a few questions though...

-Anyone know what nic mg the standard medium cart is? It felt about right for me, and I would like to get the same when I buy liquid.

- Are these (402's) the same as the $14.00 kit on dealextreame that has the charger in a fake cigarette box? They look very much the same.

- Does anyone feel that the threads on the battery just doesn't quite match up with the charger? Attaching the battery to the atomizer is very smooth, but when I screw it into the charger, I feel like I'm just on the verge of stripping the threads.

Funny. The threads on my charger are loose and the bats screw right in with no problem.

The medium carts are 12mg.

The dealextreme ones are different and according to some, are total crap.

If you see the very first post of this review, i did say that it takes longer to screw the battery in compared to a DSE model but its no biggie really. Other than that, i don't have any problems with the charger.

I am anxiously awaiting their new site to be open. I hope there is liquid for sale.

Hey guys, I just received my order from Absolutelyecigs today! I placed my order last Friday but they apparently didn't get to ship it until Monday...so I'm quite happy. :D They included an adapter for US plugs (input: 110-240??), if not, they include a short USB charger, which is pretty nice. I guess it comes with their starter kits because there are instructions on how to use it in their manual.

Anyways, I think the atomizer is 4-hole...I see four square notches on the end. So I ordered an extra atomizer to go with the second battery they include and I'm waiting for the first battery to charge.

I'm really anxious about taking the first puff...I don't want to break it lol.

Will update soon.

Just took the battery off the charger after 6 hours and put on a fresh cartridge. I'm not sure if I'm just doing it wrong or what, but the vapor has been really minimal. It seems hard to keep the atomizer/LED on the whole time I'm sucking. I put on the marlboro mediums that came with the kit and I can't smoke anymore right now because I feel too weezy.

Any tips/ideas on how I can get more vapor? I have the second battery on the charger right now...could it be that the battery wasn't charged long enough?

Try not to overfill the carts. Its common for an atomiser to get flooded at times. It gets worse when the atomiser is flooded and you follow it up with overfilling the carts.

Thats probably why you only get good vapor when the carts gets dryer. This is because the atomiser needs some breathing space and only gets it once the carts gets dryer.

yea, think that was the problem. i just put 3-4 drops in the cart now and it works fine.

Going to be my first post! I purchased a m402 after reading the review and such, from Absolutely Ecigs.

They had great service I would like to add! (My old home address was still on my paypal account and they did a refund so I could reorder under our correct address, even though paypal still shows the funds as being held)

I got it on Saturday and plugged it in to charge, that night I had my first Vap. I was a bit disappointed in the amount of vapor I was getting also from a cartridge.

I ordered 3 atomizers, 20 carts, 2 batteries and the basic kit. (wanted to make sure I had enough). I was hoping that I would be able to substitute my ecig for my smoking habit, doesnt look like the standard "carts" will do it, might have to do some refilling to get a better hit from it?

All in the all service was great but have still been left wanting as far as the vapor is concerned. I am going to try ordering some "juice" and see if that helps any. I am not into flavoring, just the plain stuff will do me just fine.

Thanks for all the reviews on the site, really convinced me to try this out.

They do have excellent customer service. Best in China and could give the US a run for its money if you ask me.

Give your 402 some time to break in. Make sure battery is fully charged. Make sure carts are not too dry.

I definitely agree with getting some liquid. It works best when you combine refilling with a drop or two on the atomiser. Watch Gallardo's videos and you can see the potential that your 402 has. Theres really nothing better than this in its category.

Well I placed an order with E-smokie Treats this time. Wanted to get something from the states. I ordered 3 bottles, makes sure I have a variety.

I have noticed the longer I use a cart the better it gets actually. At first it doesnt give much but gets a bit better.

It also seems that the E-cig has a much "heavier" feel in my lungs after a few hits than a regular cig. I have been smoking for over 18 years and this is definitely something that I will have to get used to.

What's the best way to keep the cottony stuff fluffed up? When I refill the cart it has a tendency to settle and compress to the point where it no longer makes contact with the atomizer.

My experience with it is that it will not compress and settle down unless you press unto it.

I replace a new cart quite frequently (2-3 days) even with refilling so i won't be the best person to answer this. I guess to just reposition it would help.

Thanks for both of the replies. Fedor, any reason (beyond the problem that I'm experiencing) that you use new cart so frequently? I'm trying to keep my expenses as low as possible so this venture either breaks even, or I save some money.

Before i answer, you have to understand that this is just my personal preference and i am not in anyway suggesting that you do what i do.

Now, i change frequently for for a few reasons:

1) Its cheap enough to do so. Its only $0.8 per cartridge. 100pcs for $80 will probably last me a year.

2) I bite on cartridges and it leaves unsightly marks.

3) I am too lazy to remove the carts and wash it like others.

4) Possibly for hygiene reasons or i might just be paranoid.

I don't really want to carry a syringe, so I just drop liquid into my carts. I use the paper clip to push the inner cart up and fluff up the filling. I have noticed that I have to keep the filling fluffed. Oh, good e-juice saving tip: flip your filling every now and then so the moist stuff on the bottom gets next to the atomizer! I have been using the 401 for a week and it's my new best friend. I just ordered two batteries and 10 atomizers (i'm scared of an FDA crackdown).

Cheers!
