Hello, this is my first post here, but I've been reading this forum for awhile. I *just* got my first e-cig - an m402 from Absolutely - and it's currently sitting on the charger. I know alot of people on here will put it together and try it out as soon as they get theirs, but I'm sitting on my hands, doing my best to leave it alone. The temptation is painful.

I know someone asked a similar question in this thread, but I'm still confused. My battery is sitting in the charger, as soon as I screwed it on and plugged it in, the led on the battery blinked 5 times - as it stated it would in the manual. But since then, the LED on the charger has been flipping between green and red every few seconds. It isn't consistent either, it seems totally random. Is this normal behavior? Is my battery bunk? Do they come precharged?

I appreciate any advice and I apologize if this specific question has already been answered and I missed it.

Oh, and best wishes to Absolutely Cigs for a great product, and to Fedor for this helpful review. I hope Absolutely appreciates just how much business you've brought them. :)

Well, about two seconds after I hit 'send' on my email to Absolutely with this question, a response was already sitting in my inbox. These guys have the best customer service ever! It's almost ridiculous.

Their reply:
"Don't worry about it. Your battery is fully charged this way but please leave it on the charger for at least 8 hours the first time. After this, it will need no more than 3 hours charge each time."

So, I'll follow their advice and ignore the blinking. Man, I wish I could try this sucker out.

Hello, please excuse me if this question has come in this thread, I've read through most of the pages.

I bought a Mini Electronic Cigarette v3 off the minicigarette . com website and love it, but can't identify it. I'd really like to buy parts for it.

I thought for a while it was an M403, because the length is right at 85mm, but earlier in the thread someone said that they atomizers on the M series have a collar at the base of the atomizer the same size of the battery, but this model doesn't have a collar that the cart sits on.

I'm too new here to be able to put links and pictures and stuff, and I'd really appreciate an ID on this :) It's a great little ecigarette.

You are correct. The M series atomizers, are all of the same construction. They have a collar at the base of the atomizer which is the same diameter as the battery. These are one of the few mini/super size atomizers that are female threaded in connection. Also the carts on M series units, do not conceal the entire atomizer. As all other similar models do (excluding shatty 'Health' Brand, pseudo M series)

That is either a DSE084, or a RN8084 that you have. Both should be compatible. I believe the DSE series is said to be the manufacturer of the v3 84mm.

Hope that helps Mantra. Cheers

I got the m401s and I am pretty happy with it. The only problems is I hate to drip and the carts are way too small. I have a minipipe...I love everything about it except the penstyle atomizers on it are lasting me only a few days before they give up. I have tried other penstyles and it is like pushing on air....no lung punch or throat hit. I get more flavor and throat kick with my 401s. I am wondering if the m201 is the answer to my prayers? How is the throat kick and flavor with the m201? Do you feel the vapor in your lungs? Do you have to drip every second with it...to get good throat hit? Can you go through most of a cartridge without needing to top off every minute? Lastly are the parts compatible to the 801s? I am on the verge of going back to analogs unless I find a good replacement to my minipipe. Thanks in advance.

I'm being asked way too many times on this on PMs. Let me just give my opinions here. And i repeat, this is purely my personal opinion.

I feel that the M201 feels exactly like an M401 but with a bigger engine (atomiser). Drag is a little easier but vapor and throat hit is more than the M401. The carts are exactly the same as 801 carts so they last much longer.

Thats really all i can say as i'm primarily using my 401 and 402 these days. Being a heavy user of many 801s in the past, i prefer the M201 over any other penstyles any day.

Batteries and atomiser are NOT compatible with any other penstyles that i know.

thanks Fedor for the response.....sorry if it has been asked of you many times before. If you don't mind...one more question....do you feel need to drip with your m201s? I tend to drip alot with my 401s. I was wondering if this is necessary with the 201s.....thanks again.

I actually apply the same technique with the M201. I drip a drop or two each time i refill the carts.

Hope this helps.

Hi Guys maybe you can help me with this:
I placed an order with Absolutely e-Cigs on 3/17, received shipping confirmation on 3/22, but EMS China did not ship out until 3/26... now here's where the fun begins. After it "clears" customs twice, USPS delivers MY package to the wrong address. Here's the tracking information:
Timing Site Status

My zip code 96821....
Just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions... comments... anything?
AEC has been very helpful in answering all of my questions, its a shame i cant say anything about their product.
I call USPS tomorrow, and see what they have to say, but I'm not too sure how far I'll get. Especially considering the "gray market" status of these products... I will volunteer as little information as possible regarding what was in the package, but will not lie regarding its contents. I have pretty much resented to the fact that I'm out +$200...
sigh... this sucks...

Ruuku....Trust me, you will not lose your money.

This is what i suggest.

1) Get the scanned copy of the consignment note from Absolutelyecigs. See if the information is correct. If it is not correct and they had sent it to the wrong address, demand for them to resend or get a refund. You will definitely get it back. If not, do a chargeback or dispute with Paypal.

2) If the consignment note shows that everything is correct, then call USPS and demand that they send you your parcel. Send them the consignment note as proof. You will surely get the items sent back to you this way.

This WILL work. Let us know how it goes. Absolutely ecigs has great customer service and efficiency. I don't think they would have screwed this up on purpose.

Thanks for the quick reply Fedor... I agree 100% w/ you that Absolutely ecigs has excellent customer service. Never did they let me think that this was "my problem" alone. They did email me a copy of the label (it is totally accurate), and I will be calling USPS later... (this morning).
I'm just kinda of resented to the fact that since Absolutely eCigs did nothing wrong (I hold no malice nor blame with their company, and honestly could not be angry at them for not receiving my order), and because of a slip up of the USPS, I might never get my order/money back. But maybe that may just be me being a downer...

You will notice that i demand a lot from suppliers by my posts on the forum. So far, Absolutely ecigs has been able to satisfy most of my demands in a supplier.

Its good that you cleared up the fact that its not their fault in this case but they still have a responsibility to make sure you receive the goods. It might be a different case if your shipment was seized by customs, which in this case, it is not.

However, now you have a case with USPS. Make sure you drill them hard. It might just turn out to be a case of mistaken tracking number.

I am sure if everything else fails, Absolutely ecigs will still resend your order. After all the free publicity i've done for them, they had better not dissappoint!

Edit: Did they give you a reason why the order was shipped out so late? Thats pretty unusual. I know they are having some expansion going on with their plant but it still should not have been delayed for so long.

Actually yes they did... apparently EMS China "left out" a few of Absolutely E-Cigs boxes...this was the "start" of my seemingly bad luck. A quick email to their customer support cleared up the issue (with a crazy-fast reply), and even offered some freebies with my next order. I was really looking forward to taking them up on this offer, but as i hope you understand, this whole thing has left a rather bad taste in my mouth. Again, i would like to stress that this is in no way Absolutely E-Cigs fault, just the circumstances in which it happened.
Your vote of confidence is helpful at raising my spirits... I realize that this isn't the end of the world...stuff happens.... but still... what a bummer.

As for the free publicity, you really hit the nail on the head... A little bit of digression if you will allow:
My introduction to ecigs happened about a year ago while reading engadget... at the time i was interested but the cost seemed somewhat prohibitive... A year later a friend at a bar showed me his M401, I was interested, but somewhat skeptical. He paid +$100 but the smoking laws in Hawaii are pretty restrictive (but i realize this is becoming the norm) and this seemed like a good way to enjoy nicotine without having to leave my seat at the bar. A friend researched where we could buy an ecig locally, and found one of the notorious E-Health super-mini knockoffs.
Needless to say i was hooked. Before E-Cigs, I was about a-pack-a-day smoker. With the E-Health alone i was able to cut that down to 4-5 analogs. I'm hoping that with a decent E-Cig I'll be able to kick analogs completely. In any case while the E-Health is still working (knocking on wood) I can only get about 2-3 hrs of moderate vaping with it. Dissatisfied i turned to google and luckily found ECF...what a godsend! I must say this is a pretty tight community, with excellent members. I then spent the next few days reading up on reviews, and found yours Fedor... alas my predicament. Well its been said that stuff happens, and right now I'm hoping for the best, and preparing for the worst... I just bought a EVO, and a Pilot Hybrid ;).

Just to clarify:
Fedor: I just reread my post and it kind of reads like I'm placing blame. Please realize that this simply is not the case, and rather, ordered because of your positive experience with Absolutely's products, as well as your continued dedication to this thread.
(I really need an edit button (in addition to the preview post i might add).... do you need a certain amount of posts or am i just stupid and/or blind?)

First off, thank you to everyone who has posted, especially Fedor, you RULE !!! I like the fool that I am got sucked into buying an E-cig from the mall, and while I'm off regular smokes, this thing blows. Got some juice, which helps, but I have ordered an M-401 and I cannot wait till it gets here ! I mean seriously, I wish I could just sleep for 10 days and wake up with it on my pillow !

Anyhow, EDO, I am curious if the M-201 has solved your problem ? I too would rather not have to drip all the time as I am a contractor and the environment isn't as conducive as an office situation.

With this crappy Smoking Everywhere, I feel as though I have to refill every 2 'smokes' for lack of a better word. Even with that, I feel like I pop a vein in my forehead hammering on this thing. I am hoping that number jumps to 5 with the M-401, with easier 'dragging'. So what would that number jump to with the M-201 ? I mean I would rather 'smoke' something that doesn't look like a Bic pen, but heck I don't care if it looks like a dog turd, as long as it works.

Thanks again
