Johnny, did you order some spare parts? If I had to do my first order over again, I would have at least thrown in an extra battery and atomizer. You can't go wrong carrying two full units. The atomizers do get hot if you take a bunch of full hits quickly. Once your shipment arrives, if you feel like you are sucking a milkshake through a straw with the 401/402 than you are doing something wrong.

There's a list somewhere around here for troubleshooting a 401/402/EVO/Pilot that is dead on. I'd recommend checking it out while you're waiting for your shipment. I did have some trouble with my unit that turned out to be a downward spiral of "doing it wrong". I wasn't getting the throat hit that I expected, so I overfilled my cart resulting in poor vapor performance, and then started sucking harder to get more vapor which flooded the atomizer. Then I cleaned everything out and didn't have the wick close enough to the atomizer so I kept running it dry. Once you find the Goldie Locks setup (proper fill amount, wick placement, light but firm drag, good juice) this thing rocks.

I went from about a pack a day to zero analogs within a week of owning this thing. Thank you for making this thread Fedor.

I got an extra atomizer. If all goes well, I may get the 201 and another atomizer and battery for the 401. I already wasted $150 buckaroos on the mall one, so I wanted to dip my toe in the water with this one. Having read and reread this thread, I'm feeling pretty good. I'll check out the trouble shooting guide, thanks for the advice, I need this to work, smoking real cigs sucks !!!

All your comments makes it all worthwhile. I can even forget the fact that i'm not paid to do this. Although i must say that my postings here is nothing compared to the many others who have chipped in.

I like this supplier and the products they sell. The products are not perfect (no ecigs are) but is the closest to me. They are pretty honest with prices and customer service is excellent. The supplier has no forum presence so u have a lesser likelihood of a sales pitch or fake reviews.

I used to be a heavy user of the penstyle cos i thought it was not possible to have the similar throat hit and vapor production with a smaller unit. Now that i'm using the M401/402, i;ve not used the penstyle or M201 anymore. I can live with more frequent refilling. The bigger carts seem to be the only advantage so i am willing to compromise for a sleeker looking ecig. Besides, just prepare several filled carts with you when you're out and your problem is solved anyway.

Just my opinion. For those who likes penstyles, the M201 is a great unit.

And to Ruuku, don't worry about it. I did not misintepret your meaning. I am sure everything will turn out fine. I still think you will not lose your investment. Let us know how it goes.

Well, i contacted USPS multiple times, (not a fun experience), and they insist that the only (and correct) delivery address is the one in California. They referred me to a local customer service center, but they are either backlogged or can't/won't pick up the phone. I'm going to relay this information to Absolutely E-Cigs and see if they can shed any light into the matter.

Update: Just received the package YAY! Funny thing is, ALL of the information provided was correct. Seems like this is just a HUGE slip up by the USPS. I guess with all of the packages that they deliver its no wonder, but i just find it funny that when i was talking to USPS customer service, they were convinced that there was NO way the tracking system was in error... I'll let you know how things go, and hopefully you guys can help me with any problems/hiccups i may encounter as a new vaper (wink wink nudge nudge Fedor...)

Well its been a little more than 24hrs with my new "toys" and so far I'm loving 'em. I really can't thank you enough Fedor... your review is spot on.
Just a quick question though, I've noticed that the battery on the M201 has about the same runtime as the M401... is this normal? I expected a little longer life considering its size, but i guess it needs to power a larger atomizer.
Like your initial review, right now, i actually prefer to use the M201, but I can see how its size might be a turnoff.
Overall very satisfied with both units, haven't had an analog all day, and quite frankly/more importantly didn't want one.

I've never really timed the M201 battery before. If you search this thread, i've done an experiment on the M401 and M402 batteries before.

I think your theory makes sense since it has to power a bigger atomiser and vaporise liquid from a bigger cartridge.

I'm glad you like it. But don't you also have a Pilot? Its supposed to be exactly the same with the M401.

This is way off the subject, but I can't post a new thread. I'm a noob, maybe thats it. I just wanted to to post something about what is happening to me. Johnson Creek is boning me. I ordered 30ml, they only sent me 15ml. Sucks, but it happens. I took a picture of my order form next to the bottle, and sent it to them 4 times, in 24 hr incriments, to every email they had.

Nada, no replies !

They just lost a customer, and I just wanted everybody to know what they are doing.

You are right. This IS way off topic.

But its cool since i've just bought myself 100ml of liquid for only $48 and i'm pretty sure i'll get exactly 100ml. You might wanna check out the website i posted below.

Fedor -

I can't access their new site from work (can still get to the old one that redirects...weird), so could you post the flavors they have available? I'm hoping for a coffee. I used some of a friend's, and since then no other flavor has compared.

When i tried accessing it a while ago, it has a message saying under maintenance or something and it said to try again after 15 minutes.

I just tried again and its working fine.....

They do have coffee but they are giving it some fancy names. I ordered Marlboro. Let us know if the coffee tastes good.

Does the M-402 starter pack from absolutelye-cigs.com come with everything needed, or is there something else I need to buy at the same time in order for this to work? I'm looking to get one for my mom as a gift, so I don't really know much about them.

Also, is the M-402 good for someone who has never used an e-cig before? Thanks for any help!

yea the starter pack comes with everything, but you should buy some extra liquid and a spare atomizer. i think it's a good beginner e-cig but refilling the carts might take some extra work. you just need a paper clip to help refill

I haven't received the pilot yet, but a friend is interested in e-cigs, so seeing as how satisfied I am with the 402, and as much as i want to side by side test them, i think I'll just sell it to him, and stockpile parts ;).

As for a recommendation, I second everybody's opinion that you cannot go wrong with Absolutely's products, especially for a first time buyer. Picking one of these up in the first place would have saved me some money and lots of frustration with inferior products.

Hi Fedor and guys,

I am from Colombia SA and also I am new with the e-cig. I already made a mistake and bought the product from Smoke Everywhere my first e-cig paying a lot of money. If I had read this forum before I could save a lot of money. But I do not want to cry over the whet floor.

So, now I need your help. Since in Colombia the e-cig has not penetrated the market, I want to start a new business, importing e-cigarettes for the local market. It will be harder to sell them here since it is so cheap to smoke here (A Marlboro pack is about USD 0.90).

The help I do need is that I want to bring a good product. I do not want to rip off people and also I do not want to be ripped off by buying a product that do not work very well.

I have been reading this forum for several days now and the conclusion that I have is that It would be safe to import the M201, M401/402/403 models. So, it would help me a lot if you Fedor and guys confirm my conclusions. Or if anyone have other idea, I would appreciate it.

Now, please know that to bring e-liquid to Colombia would be almost impossible unless I smuggle it (That I will not do it!).

Please help me as much as you can.

Best Regards

Ccure

Fedor-
Recieved the pilot today, and well.... its the same as Absolutely's M401/2. Not like the EVO (which i received yesterday...I'm really going overboard here...) but its EXACTLY the same. I could be mistaken about them being the same unit, but the box, ex. are all the same. In all a quality unit, and Puresmoker's service was great... plus no worries about importing/customs and all that (the platinum/all black batteries are a nice touch that sets them apart).

A quick question to you and all others that have both an M401 an M402 battery: Is it just me or does the M401 battery seem to "burn" hotter than the M402? Maybe its just the initial charge and will level off, but it seems that i can vape much longer/take longer more frequent drags with the M402 w/o burning my lips with a hot atomizer. Overall the M402 just seems to run cooler if that makes any sense.

CCure: If you read through this thread, you will have seen my "panic" posts. Even with all this stress, I WILL NOT HESITATE to order from Absolutely E-Cigs. Their products are some of the best on the market, and will not disappoint. I can also vouch for the quality of service, they always responded within 24hrs, sometimes even within a couple of minutes.
