Good Morning/Evening All! It is going to be a lovely day! Since I sleep days and am awake nights, one of the joys for me is to take time out from whatever I am doing each day and watch the sun rise.
Not sure what meteorological reasons cause it to be so but today was especially gorgeous with wisps of feathery clouds as the burnt orange horizon eased its way into the beautiful bright blue sky. Made the coffee taste a but better than normal if I may say so.
I continue to enjoy the beautiful pictures and prose offered to the thread by so many. I have always been influenced by the lyrics of many songs I have enjoyed throughout my life. Although some see the song "The Boxer" by Paul Simon to be a gloomy song, I have never gotten that from it at all.
The last verse in particular strikes me as inspiring. Yes it speaks of shame but the key words to me are the last line of the verse:
In the clearing stands a boxer,
And a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders
Of ev'ry glove that laid him down
And cut him till he cried out
In his anger and his shame,
"I am leaving, I am leaving"
But the fighter still remains...
For me it is simple. You never win all battles in life and one thing that is assured is that none of us will get out of it alive!

That said, no matter what I have faced and I am sure it is so true of many of you are the words "but the fighter still remains...".
Have a great day all!
Steve
