Thanks a lot for the reminder Major. It will be done exactly like this. :):)

Christmas is a holiday that all people in the planet wait for it. These children will be so happy for the gifts they will receive. And I am talking not about gifts we all receive these days. I am talking about some more food maybe to feel better during the day.

The way GG will be sold from now on will give the ability to those small creatures to be a little more happier.

I love all the kids but I love more the children that suffer. This is the most crazy thing that can happen to our world. Dont let this happen please guys. Make as more donations as you can to every organization you can. Dont send much money. Send only 2 dollars per month. Good for your soul, good for the children, good for your God

I keep hoping others will join us as we go along with this effort. Christmas is a time of giving and I can't think of a better way to give to those that will have nothing even to eat if we don't help.

As Imeo says, in the end, the people we really may be saving is ourselves! Have a great Christmas all and give as you can! :)

Christmas offer! WE have a GG family member that has reached out and made an excellent offer. After speaking to Imeo, we are going to acept that awesome gesture. Here it is;

All money donated between now and Christmas will be matched by him. Basically, it means that for up to $100 USD total, if for example we get 75 dollars donated from all other sources, he will also donate $75. This is a rare opportunity to make your donation double in value!

THe member insisted he remain anonymous on here so I will respect that wish. Just know that if you donate $2, that will mean $4. If you donate $10, that will mean $20 dollars are actually donated. I know Christmas is tight for everyone but dig out those dimes and quarters!

This is a great way make your donation count for even more. Super thanks to the member that only makes this offer if he stays anonymous! Let's take him up on this offer and give as much as we can since he will do this for up to $100! It would be great to get in total $100 dollars donated as that would mean with his matching donation, we would actually be sending $200!

Thanks to you all and have a Merry Christmas and let's make it a good one for those that a good day is one where they get to eat! :)

to my opinion, this guy has to be announced. Many people have to follow his exellent example. Maybe his friends will do something like him. Even if they do much less than him it would still be a great offer. I am very proud to say that after Odysseus sales I will send 1500 dollars to those small creatures so they will have a great Christmas day.
I am sure that the man that wants to stay anonumous is a very great person. Staying anonumous makes him an even greater person! But to my opinion, better to expose himself so other people will follow his wonderful example:)

I think you are right for one more reason and that is to convince those unfaithful and show them there are still good people in this crazy world who think about other and something else instead themselves and money! Kudos to you Imeo and this big donation of 1500 dollars:thumb:

and next time (if you all agree), I will charge 1 more euro to the GG series sales, so we can send even more dollars to childs. Childs come first of everything!

ecf community can be a big donator, maybe the biggest one for the childs. We can have our name in the top of the list of people that help the childs. We can go very far with this. We can leave our names with gold letters in history. !

Imeo,

I know the intentions are good, but I wouldn't do it that way. It's raising your price point and forcing people into a charity, One they might not agree with.

Plus I think there is a way to foster community support on an opt in bases, and probably provide more money to the charity.

You obviously have the ability to engrave, and I assume you can engrave the bottom cap. Solicit simple line drawing artwork on the forum. Of the ones that can put into a cad system and make a CNC "program", have a contest, and produce a limited production run of 200 "Charity caps by <user name>", with a $30 USD addition premium, which goes to the charity.

They will sell..

- The lot generates $6000 USD for the charity.
- A user gets the honer of their work on a piece of GG.
- Since it's limited run, people will collect them (I know I would)

Do it twice a year max, so it's generally fresh, and eagerly anticipated, and your writing $12k/year to your charity.

Numbers grow or shrink based on anticipated demand, but i think the concept is clear.
