I hear this stuff almost every time I am asked by someone in the room who is smoking a pack or more of cigs per day. I always say: " I don't think that happened.. I think it is a old wives tale created to give smokers an excuse to avoid the need to make a change. I have allowed friends to use a spare and they like it ( they smoke all of the fluid) and then they hear that they have to buy more and the hesitate. I sit with them and compare the price of vaping and tell them that I don't feel the tiredness or experience a cough unless I use a liquid that is too high in nicotine or is menthol. ( That is another question WHY DO THEY MAKE THAT STUFF WHY NOT JUST GET A JAR OF VICKS VAPO RUB AND SMOKE IT SOMEHOW)
And I do wonder if that occurrence that we have all heard about actually happened or if it is a outright myth or it has some truth to its base? I know it did not explode unless someone filled it with gasoline or something was added that was not compatible to the particular vape unit.
They DO get hot and you must let them cool but "BLOWING UP" is a big step from getting hot. Anyone know of such an occurrence that was documented by a reliable source? Let me know.
I used to say I was going to quit smoking after I finished the next pack of the next carton. I did quit and smoking had caused such vascular/cardiac disease that I had a 3x bypass after NOT SMOKING for 16 years.
I hated the way they made me feel and each time I smoked I got sick. As soon as I felt better-- I lit up another cig.
I have experience absolutely NO negative effects anything like that since I started vaping 3 years ago.
Let me know? Warren Justice
