Could it be some cool 5v version?

:vapor:

I am toying with the idea of doing a video review Saturday and posting it here.....provided I drink some beer and am having a half decent hair day. I am not real keen on seeing myself on video tape but I guess I don't have to watch it after I preview it.

Map tanks, ce2's, clearomizers....when they are good, they are very very good and when they are bad I want to see if I really can run over the dang thing with a truck! Before massive amounts of alcohol are required, I am gonna just walk away....I am hoping the delrin cap of the one map is just off-anything requiring me to go out into the shop so I have a tool box, clamps etc is just way to much for me!

I wanted to change out my 3.2ohm guts in the thing cause it got fried-long story-short version was I had the thing on my other chuck a few weeks back with the extension on it. Left it in the stockroom at work. Have a stainless A style drip tip on it. We had other employees in the store as we were remodeling. A pair of ditzy girls mistook it for a screwdriver or something! Not kidding! I think they toasted the ce2 because I refilled and all I got was burnt. Now I can't get the ce base out of the base of the map! I have another map, didn't look like an easy replace but it was brand new with a 2.8, too low for five volts, so I went to a 18650 batt. Like I said, they are great when all lines up battery math wise and such. I just got to work out the gut replacement kinks. Filled, it does last me 2-3 days and as long as it is heating and wicking like it is suppose to it is great.

Ooops, I guess I confirmed your guess X ! :2cool::p I'll do some pics or a vid tomorrow :vapor:

I don't think it matters since your connector on the chuck should be sealed. I was kind of excited when these first came out, got over them really fast as I really disliked the ce2's. I need to see if I can remodify my existing tanks for the cartomizer version, all in time, might save it for a winter project.

I still love the 5 volt chuck I got with the modified endcap, use it mostly for fruit type flavors that need to be taken down a notch voltage wise. Right now, using it nonstop till my new ones get in.
