Thanks Poeia....you have ALWAYS given me good advice. I forgot....I have a 901 to 510 adapter that I have never used. When I put it on my Chuck just now it sticks up above the top about 1 cm....hopefully that will be enough for the Map tank. ( I'm assuming the 901 instead of 808 won't affect anything. I'm thinking that the 2.4 ohm will be too hot. I got some Ce2's that were 2.5's and they are kind of harsh/hot. I wondered about the 2.8 vs. 3.2 ohm ones. The V4Life premium cartos are around 2.8, right? They always burn up quickly for me, but the V9 turbos loose taste and are cooler and I think those are over 3.

I use the twisted drip tips from Nhaler....510/901....those should work, RIGHT?

So I fussed with it this afternoon. A good 6mls of liquid, tank is 3.2ohms. Not sure why but 3.7 felt a bit lame to me and while 6 volts is a bit much it is pretty darn good. Just need to practice giving time between hits. These E2 things don't like to be fired nonstop. If I can learn not to drop it, then this is going to take vaping to a new level for me. As in spoiled! I already feel pretty darn spoiled with the chuck and the cartos when I compare it to the cartridge and 510 battery days but not having to tote around a bottle of juice everywhere and yes, taste much improved over carto's.

Only thing I need to re adapt to is twirling it on occassion and giving time between button hits. Another thing I noticed, fresh charged six volts and this thing are not good, need to either let the bats sit for a long while after charging or use some that have already been going. Out of the charger, burnt! I'll have it balanced and sorted out soon. Just need to play around with the ohm and voltage thing. The guts on the map are interchangable so you just have to order different E2 fillers if you don't have it right.

I am glad I made the investment to play around with this stuff. My little chuck will be perfect for the clearomizers so I can put it in use again, I have my gunsmoke chuck that I'll keep at 6 volts with the cartos because I think they still have their place plus it gets knocked around at work and a map tank on a chuck is probably gonna be an ugly fall. And last but not least, I have a pretty new chuck coming that will be just for my map. Its like hitting the vaping lottery!

Its crazy, all the new stuff that has come out in the past year for us. However, the chuck has remained a constant reliable battery mod, kind of like you can buy all kinds of funky drill bits but you still need a good quality reliable drill!

I've been reading that the CE2 cartomizers don't work well at 6v... Any reasons?

Day two with the 3.2 map at 6 volts. I really like this thing. It seems to be running even better now that I broke it in. I normally would replace both batts every morning. To play it safe, I just switched out one batt this morning instead. I will just alternate one out everyday for now and have had no problems. Most everyone I inquired with said that six volts might be a bit high for these and that 3.7 and 5 is more the way to go. Since the batts do drop down some this little compensation method seems to be working well.
xLowEndx, only speculating but I wonder since the guts are suppose to be the same, the volume of liquid might have something to do with the way they heat up??? I can't do the 3.2 clearomizers on six volts, bleck but the map is really good.
I ordered some xl ce2s at 3.2 today. I plan on using them as my map tank refills, just need to go purchase a small pipe cutter.
Still really loving the map. Still do get a fried hit, usually on the third button hit if I don't give it a rest in between and tip it upside down for a second in between hits.
I vaped all day and last night sat in bed and vaped nonstop on a clearomizer since I was trying a new juice. I am amazed at how less toasted my throat feels compared to when I am vaping on a carto nonstop. It definitely takes some tinkering with to get it just right and a change in habits.

Not sure if all the CE2's are made by the same manufacturer. I have gotten my stuff from Bruce at COV. I like Bruce, I bought some of his cov cartos a few weeks back because everyone seems to be out of the boge ones. I filled one up and it was burnt and icky right off the bat. I didn't like them and he promptly issued me a credit for my purchase, didn't even wait for me to get them sent back, which I did finally do. I've bought bulk carto's etc from other vendors in the past, ended up selling them all off.
I stick with just two suppliers for my accessories and found that I have better consistancy that way in regards to the way they perform. COV is my main one and Nhaler is my second. I get some duds on occassion but for the most part it is all good.
I am going to try Nhaler's clearomizers to compare since his appear to be completely different.

I still like and use my Chucks but this is where VV mods like the ProVari come in. Just set the constant voltage on the mod instead of trying to vary the amount of charge in the battery, the CE2 in the tank, the kind of juice, etc.

Speaking of variables........I finally got a map tank ordered....got the middle ohm one....2.7?

Anyway.....the tank is just the outside, right? When you replace the innards, you can get 808 type connections or 510 connections in the various ohms you want......is that correct?

Yes you can get what you want as long as they are XL's
