mech versus adjestable mod oddity ?

I have a mechanical mod with a sony vtc5 battery and a tank that has a 0.5 ohm kanthal coil.
I like the taste and the way it vapes.
If I move the tank to my adjustable mod I can’t get the same results.
So the battery is between 3.7 and 4.2 volts.
Using ohm/joule law the wattage should be between 27 and 35 W.
If I adjust the wattage in this range I do not get the same taste and vape.
What am I missing ?

Pulse width modulation.
Tis the reason many of us prefer to use mechs.
Try the AF firmware on the pico. I find it provides a much better vape experience.
