Mech with hybrid top, lockable button, and magnets?

The title says it all folks. Looking to purchase a new mod, my 'only' requirements are a hybrid top cap, a magnetic switch, and the ability to lock said switch. I was looking at the SMPL but I'm unsure about the switch. I'm very open to suggestions though, my Stingray X is fantastic, just getting bored with 'er.

The MCR101 meets your requirements. Pricey and can be hard to find, but I've heard lots of good things

I've been looking at MCRs, can't seem to find any in stock though. Does anybody have any input on the praxis, or the Oros?

Let me qualify this post by first saying I ONLY use Hybrid style mechanical mods, I own eight of them currently including a few I've modified myself to be Hybrids.

Having said that I urge you to continue to look at the SMPL, the button is very recessed when installed, easily 2-3mm recessed and it has never once come close to autofiring in my pocket, bag, car, anywhere. Honestly It doesn't have a lock because I don't think the design needs one. The SMPL is by far my favorite mod I own, it gets used for hours every day and has never given me a single issue. I know you said magnets, but the spring switch of the SMPL is pretty awesome IMO.

If you like the Stingray X you can also modify a Nemesis to be very similar, hybrid top caps and magnetic switch upgrades are available and numerous for the Nemesis.

No locking ring.. BUT the button is reccessed..

I suggest them, even outside your parameters, because of how great they both are. I personally bought both at the exact same time as a pair.. I felt I couldn't own one without the other.

I have been running my SMPL at .15 ohms since day one(over two weeks) and the spring is just like brand new. The switch has a huge contact surface area, I highly doubt that current will ever pass through the spring with this switch design unless you neglected it for months at a time.

Edit: When I say the SMPL is the best mod I own by far I really do mean it, I will be purchasing the Stainless and Brass to go with my Copper. Understand that for me to buy duplicates of the same mod in other materials it has to be VERY VERY GOOD.

As a "safety" I unscrew the button screw 1 turn... Never a miss fire or autofire

Also the nanos "22mm" by mmvapors is a good mod but no hybrid cap... However the top cap is a dual adjustment cap, one for the pin the other for the battery

there is another way to look at your situation to get what you want, build it....

look for mods with 20 x 1 threaded Tubes, 20 x 1 threaded tubes have the most accessories available and most of the parts (switches) can be interchangeable...now you might have to spend a few bucks but you can eventually get exactly what you want with the rite info and places to shop.....(tube ,switch, hy- adapter)

here are lists of different size Tube/Atty threading, this would give you a starting point, 1:1 clones are usually the same size also

Fast-Tek has some cheapo's that work pretty good with the Nemesis, Vivid Smoke carries the same one for a few more bucks.

The Nemesis can go hybrid either with Fusion Mods adapter or one from Fasttech. Both have an adapter to allow hybrid mode on any atomizer, and the later also has one for the KF 3.1 that removes the need for the bottom tray section (below the airflow/filling valve/deck section) - making it even smaller. Lockable, simple to upgrade to magnets.
