So are reos being shipped with the upgraded contacts or will it just be an extra kit for order? If they aren't already then when will they be out?

I'm thinking about ordering my first reo next week but I certainly enjoy sub ohm coils.

YOur choice: hold off for a month or more; get a new Reo with upgrade...parts are being produced ... he said he's going to have "thousands" of contacts.

or get one now and order the upgrade when they get here...

i'd go with the latter myself.

I filed my pos pin point ... and in the process saw the delrin was a bit mangled; its a real oldie though... firing a .6 Ohms coil again; all is good (with new stock spring).

it will be totally ready for an upgrade asap.

Although he said there will be no f5 wars, if i order a new Grand with upgrade, I'm glad i have a Grand to upgrade.
When the first runs of any Reo came out before, it was impossible to snag one.
In this case, though, there are so many Reo Grands out there now, those kits will be flyin of the shelf... faster than new Grands imo.

Out of curiosity; are you using a cotton micro at .6? I've seen posts about cotton not being able to handle sub ohm micro builds?

My button got a little melty and I just put a thumb tack in the end of it. It works fine and doesn't melt. They are hard to find these days as most places use and sell push pins.

ETA I hate push pins they don't sit on other peoples chairs like a good old thumb tack.

Hmm, happened to my Firing button too, don't know why, but that's a good idea....thanks

cotton ball yes.... not a problem if wicked.

A "micro coil" with typical ID 1/16", is always best with cotton ball wick... and sub ohms is no exception.
any other type of wick material ... good luck trying to get it in a micro.
in other words a micro is the best medium for cotton ball at any resistance

With all the new sub ohm vapers trying to squeeze every drop out of there mods I decided to do something about it .
I made some calls and spoke to a company that makes springs and electrical contacts . Once they have looked at the mod and the contacts I am using there going to get back to me with some recommendations . Just from speaking to me on the phone the gentlemen assured me they could make improvements .

I thought I would put this out there and let you know I do listen ;)

Great News Rob, I guess the next question is when will the "New" mods and/0r Upgrade kits be available? :vapor:
