Geez - I can't keep up with this thread!

I admit I kind of got bored of most of the back-and-forth and skipped to the end though. I do want to say I'm sorry you had to deal with this crap. I'm glad I read the thread though because I got to read about you - my wife had a hard enough time doing what you do in a very liberal part of the country. I can't imagine the stories you have working out of the Bible Belt.

Again, Kaston, I am not trying to be-little anything, because it's wrong, but for goodness sakes, P on them for what they said, blow it off, but come on, one cannot put personal photos, butts swingin all over the place and a sexual column information on a public forum and then be APPALLED and snivel about it because someone called you a bad name. Worse than that can happen to others for doing these things. My point is, if you want to play, then expect that you could pay. Again, I'm not condemning you or anything about you, those are your choices and that's fine, but please...............

Unfortunately, some people are ferociously close minded and refuse to take the blinders off. They polute the atmosphere with their petty opinions, and viciously strike out against anything contrary to their world view, irregardless of who they hurt.

Thus said, If said Idiot is gone, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. Don't give them a second thought, except for the occasional pity that they can't see the entire beautiful world because they refuse to.

You see, I disagree with that. Some of the photos and things said COULD be very offensive to someone. That does not make them a total loser. I'm not saying what they did to her is right, but you can't just go off calling that person petti and a loser. Some people viewing these things just possibly MAY be a little more conservative. Ever think of it that way?

I meant the above statement to be my defense of my previous statement, not an attack on your right to post your article. (I am quoting challenged so I can't post all of the quoted conversation from the previous page.)

Like I responded to you in my PM. I think that everyone went ballistic on the banning of Senneke for breaking forum rules for sending you the PM, that I thought I should post some the other forum rules that were pertinent.

I don't feel that anyone should be banned or any posts deleted.

It may mean nothing coming from ME but, congrats on being published, I know that it means a lot and don't let anything that has happened on this forum take away from your accomplishment.

No one is forcing anyone to look at the Miss ECF thread. And I made it QUITE clear that anyone who was annoyed with my past sig could just say the word and it would be taken down.

I feel very sorry for you Kaston. You should not have had to go through all of this. It goes to show how one ignorant SOB can ruin a whole evening for the rest of us.
IMO the Miss ECF Pagent was one of the most fun things that I have ever seen here.
All the photos were in good taste and tasted quite good. Anybody that may have been offended could have simply navigated away from that thread without causing all of this here. Oh well... Small minds etc.

A conservative person wouldn't have sent an intentionally hateful PM to another member of the forum. That's what HATEMONGERS do. It' just WRONG to intentionally seek to hurt another human being that way....

If I am offended by a comment, a photo, or an article, I simply ignore those people, words or images. I might discuss my irritation with it with my husband, in the privacy of our home, but I do not send a flagrantly venomous PM intended ONLY to hurt the recipient, no matter what differences there are between my views and theirs.

To be perfectly honest, I'm highly embarrased about anything to do with sexuality, especially voiced in an open forum. Did I send Kaston a hate mail? NO. It's her choice to do what she wants to do, as it's my choice to sit in an office 8 hours a day and shuffle paper. To each their own.

And she was PROUD of her accomplishment - her name in print. Do you know what it takes to be published in print nowadays? The competition is intense! Now that joy and accomplishment has been overshadowed by this uglyness.

Thanks Vicks. It has overshadowed my accomplishment, and now that it has been handled, I can let it go and try to feel proud that I got myself published.
