usted me up about Dumwaldo. LMAO. Learned some time ago, don't tell Dumaldo anything. Shhhhh. I don't want him to come around. Sometimes I think he has antennas when his name is said and his username fits him to a T. Sorry, I have had a couple Dumwaldo run ins.
Look the light automagically manages to pass right through solid material and penetrate the astoundingly well sealed atomizer chamber that has the two big holes in the corners...

Maybe yours is sealed with a couple of wads of hope but mine is absolutely 100% definitely not sealed.

I mean you could look at the pictures in that thread also and see it is clearly not sealed in any manner.

If you, or anybody else (including a Janty rep) is capable of pointing a camera down the atomizer opening and press the button on a Janty stick and NOT have light come through I freely invite them to post the video but so far I am the only one I see that is willing to SHOW something instead of just talking empty words.

That goes for you too scyllabub, You are invited to post a video SHOWING me to be wrong as well.

I don't think either of you can do it though so I will not be waiting on it.

Okay, I have to ask. DW, do you have any other purpose in life than to be antagonistic, negative, and nasty? I am difficult to annoy and you manage to annoy me with every post you make. You must be a sad, unhappy person. :(

I was the one that brought up the issue of led light coming through the corners and asked how it was sealed. Ludo assured me that the atomizer connection itself is completely sealed and dripping is perfectly ok. He also told me even if the juice gets past the gaps and onto the circuit boards it will still function normally so I stopped worrying and continued to enjoy my unit. My unit isn't perfect, I have gaps in the atomizer housing, I have several blemishes in the paint finish, my atomizer wobbles back and forth just like yours, paint on all four corners of the bottom cap thingie is rubbing off, and my manual button is peeling off. All these little issues don't really bother me because the JS is the best e-cig I found to date and I still have 5 months, 3 weeks, and 1 more day of warranty.

Hi h4w..I have the Automatic Stick also and posted this little vaping technique that I do with the stick and hit the cut-off every time now. Check it out...

So after a few hours of frustration w/ the automatic stick and not being able to reach the cut-off...I found a new technique that works perfect and I hit the cut-off almost every time. It sounds somewhat ridiculous; although, it works.

Place your tongue on the bottom of your mouth and place the tip of the cart just in front of the tip of your tongue (since your tongue is resting on the bottom of your mouth). Do not raise your tongue from the bottom of your mouth the entire time. Lightly inhale to activate the switch and then slowly take little puffs every second (as if you were making a "clicking" sound with your tongue). You can count each second slowly and it will keep the switch activated the entire time until you reach the cut off. This is not a direct lung inhale though; you're simply filling up your mouth with vapor and then inhaling when you hit the cut-off.

It's hard to explain..but think about when you eat a very sour candy (like an "Airhead" or very sour "Sweet-Tart" and you tend to click your tongue to clear the sour taste. Another analogy is when a person chewing gum does that extremely annoying "smacking" of their gum while chewing...it's the same theory.

Anyway..try it and let me know if it works for you:D

I don't get it????

Are you people playing baseball or badmitten with your sticks?
C'mon people.... you can't have had these for more than a week or so! What are you doing that tears them up so bad?
And what is it with those of you that STILL claim that attys won't fit? I've tried everything from Janty to eastmall.. From 801's to mini-pipes and every single one of them has gone in without a problem! When I ran out of mine to try, I tried those from people at work... They all fit fine too!! Are you putting them in the battery hole or what?
Geez!!!!!

ROFLMAO!!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

Okay, much to my surprise, it happened. I had e-liquid leaking from the bottom of my stick where the end cap with the light meets the body of the stick. I was shocked because these were advertised as being sealed and that leaking would not be a problem.

Yes, I checked that the atomizer was fully screwed in and it was, I pulled it out and e-liquid was all over the shaft. I wiped it down, shoved a little bit of rolled up paper towel down the shaft to get the excess and screwed it back together and I guess it has leaked quite a bit because I was still getting e-liquid coming out of the same seam. :(

Has this happened to anybody else or is mine defective in some way??

My JS sits right next to my laptop at home. I received it as I described except the paint rubbing off, that's due to the stick going in and out of my beltclip case as I walk about my house. Paint has bumps and blemishes and my manual button was peeling from the minute I opened my package. The sticker is applied a little crooked and it doesn't stay put. I'm waiting to hear from Ludo about maybe getting another sticker so I can replace it myself.

Um.... not to sound smug or anything, but the switch comes with a protective covering of pealable plastic over it. It's supposed to come off.
Could it be that is what you are seeing?

I was reading a post from a guy in the UK who was talking about how he was having to use pliers to get his attys out!!

WTF!!!!!

I'm very confused by this! My attys all extend about 1/4 inch above the lip on the body of the stick. Pliers??? Wow!!!

You weren't using it as a baseball bat like some others here have been, are you?

No, I have been treating it so well... I haven't dropped it or anything :(. I use 3-4 drops at a time because I am using a tiny glass dropper from one of those 3 ml glass bottles. I just don't get it? I am very disappointed...

Hehe, I wish it was that clear plastic. Ethan asked me the same thing when I emailed him lol. It's the black sticker itself that's coming off. It was applied incorrectly so the corners doesn't sit flush with the housing. No biggie... I'm sure it'll all be sorted out soon. I understand Ethan is gone for a week so I'm just waiting and being very careful with my stick.
