greetings from europe,

i got my email today, but with somewhat bad news. they say the wooden boxes broke on the transport, for compensation they drop some freebies in the package.

this has to be a very big package, with all the waitingfor freebies + no box freebies

:D

tracking info? not here in europe :(

I already got mine this morning in Europe and plenty of freebies without even asking for it just because they didn't have one e-liquid in stock :)
This Stick rocks so much btw... well worth the wait.

Had to wait till payday, but placed my order this morning, order # 5064. Now comes the waiting game, I asked for an estimated ship date on the order and will see what response I get.

New to personal vaporizing, right now just have a Dura-C and some DIY juice, tincture of American Spirit organic + Juicy Liquid. But I'm topping off every hour it seems. Looking forward to the larger cartridge of the Stick (Classic/801).

I think you will get it quick. From what Jeff & Ludo have said, they are caught up on pre orders and LE's and they have a small stock available for purchase with a larger shipment coming next week...........

I hope the vapor gods agree with you, but did just place an order also for an 801 from Dietsmokes. Either way I'll have a new vaporizer to play with next week.

is this really a 2 sec cutoff on the auto stick ?

even my kissbox autos don't cutoff that early.

[edit] okkeeeey, just after i postet i took a draw and it holds longer, Magic of Ludo or something ?
on a second note, i remember my kissbox switches got better over time too.... strange

Kemelov..I have an Automatic JS and hit the cut-off every time...try my vaping technique that I posted last week...it works well!

So after a few hours of frustration w/ the automatic stick and not being able to reach the cut-off...I found a new technique that works perfect and I hit the cut-off almost every time. It sounds somewhat ridiculous; although, it works.

Place your tongue on the bottom of your mouth and place the tip of the cart just in front of the tip of your tongue (since your tongue is resting on the bottom of your mouth). Do not raise your tongue from the bottom of your mouth the entire time. Lightly inhale to activate the switch and then slowly take little puffs every second (as if you were making a "clicking" sound with your tongue). You can count each second slowly and it will keep the switch activated the entire time until you reach the cut off. This is not a direct lung inhale though; you're simply filling up your mouth with vapor and then inhaling when you hit the cut-off.

It's hard to explain..but think about when you eat a very sour candy (like an "Airhead" or very sour "Sweet-Tart" and you tend to click your tongue to clear the sour taste. Another analogy is when a person chewing gum does that extremely annoying "smacking" of their gum while chewing...it's the same theory.

Anyway..try it and let me know if it works for you:D

Everyone on this thread seems to have ordered a Manual J-stick, I got an automatic. Let me hear how the manual works, and what would be different in use. Do they work with reliability, etc. Thanks

After getting a Screwdriver, I decided it was only manuals for me from then on..........I like the Manual JS, because then I can control the draw and amount of hit I get depending on my mood. No primer puffs needed, just push the button for a half to one second before the draw. I also think that a push button switch is more reliable than some auto switch. Just read about the reviews of the manual 510 versus the automatic......the manual blows it away...........

If you have never had a manual switch PV, you gotta try one. You should look at the Dura or the 510 from Widows.........I guarantee you won't go back to an auto.

Ever since I had 3 automatic batteries fail in 1 day and created a manual usb for myself to get myself through to the next order, I gotta say I'll never go back to automatics again. No fiddling with primer puffs or trying to get just the right pressure anymore, no worrying about drowning the battery and shorting it out, just push the button and inhale.

My mod makes even the ugliest posted so far look beautiful, but it vapes better than any one I've bought so far.

Anxiously awaiting my manual JS - It can't be here soon enough.

Okay, much to my surprise, it happened. I had e-liquid leaking from the bottom of my stick where the end cap with the light meets the body of the stick. I was shocked because these were advertised as being sealed and that leaking would not be a problem.

Yes, I checked that the atomizer was fully screwed in and it was, I pulled it out and e-liquid was all over the shaft. I wiped it down, shoved a little bit of rolled up paper towel down the shaft to get the excess and screwed it back together and I guess it has leaked quite a bit because I was still getting e-liquid coming out of the same seam. :(

Has this happened to anybody else or is mine defective in some way??

Must have been the 5ml of e-liquid you put in it the first day you got it:lol:

I just happen to be right over and over again. I must be one lucky idiot.

DW

Did you know a stopped clock is right twice a day? It doesn't mean the clock holds any value, because the damned thing is broken and is really worthless. It does mean, however, that the earth still rotates on its axis and the broken measuring device happens upon being correct at a specific moment.

I guess what I'm saying is...if you talk a lot of .... for a long time, you have to be right once in awhile.

I would have never seen this post if Ludo didn't say "It's okay, DW". Then I was curious on what other crap you would start talking.

As for the broken stick, get a replacement from Janty. I'm sure they'll work with you on getting a replacement and sending the broken one back.

I don't know how you can click your tongue with a mouth full of vapor, doesn't work that way for me...end up losing all my vapor and choking.....and my Mom wouldn't let me smack my gum, it was considered rude. Like chewing with your mouth open. Not allowed at our house. But I did try your method, just to please you!

Cute analogy but someone would have to be about as dumb as the turds I scoop from my cats litter box to believe it has anything to do with what happened here.

I siad nobody would get a stick for a week after the quoted delivery date of the 19th. Remarkably nobody got a stick till one week after the promised delivery date of the 19th.

I said several times that the delivery dates should not be called delivery dates but shipping dates and I turned out to be right about that as shown by janty changing the website to say shipping dates.

I said the atomizer is not sealed and low and behold the atomizer is not sealed. You don't seem to get that part though. You seem to have somehow come to the mistaken conclusion that stick is "broken" and just needs to be replaced but that is not the case at all.

The problem is that the design of the stick is not what was promised. You could buy up every Janty Stick manufactured and NONE of them would have a sealed atomizer chamber because, LIKE I SAID MANY DAYS AGO, the Janty Stick is NOT sealed. No matter how many times someone gets it replaced that FACT will not change.

BTW

the button IS nothing more than a sticker and it will peel in time and the other complaint you will see in the coming weeks will be of the end cap at the LED side developing a wiggle.

Don't believe me if you don't want to, I accept that I can not change the ignorance of others but when it does come to fruition it will be just couple points that I was correct about again even if you do not want to accept it.

You probably have lots of theose MYTHBUSTERS t-shirts, don't you. You know, the ones that say 'I reject your reality and substitute it with my own'.
